R15, not pregnant, but a female may be coming into my life. I've invited her to my next karaoke night out a week from Saturday. And she bowls.

Not impressed with the Xbox One. PC master race, I guess? I won't get some of the "cooler" games but I've really regalled my Xbox 360 to a netflix machine..... :/

holding my breath, hoping that giving this girl a second chance doesnt cost me my soul...i'm pretty sure she realizes now what an awesome guy i am and how lucky she was, maybe she will treat me better....

on a even brighter note, preparing a schedule for when i get back home, setting myself up for financial success.

got on this crazy diet...i think im starting to lose fat, though i havent dropped a pound yet according to the scale. 20-30 minutes of lifting, followed immediately by an hour of elliptical, and sets of 30 pushups throughout the day. wanting 6 pack abs...cut ALOT of sodium, carbs, and fat out of my diet, hoping to see results by august.

Saw Star Trek: Into Darkness last night. Meh. It was better than the first one, so if you liked that one, you should really like this one. Seemed like an unnecessary direction to take to me, though.

If my back feels better later this weekend I might try to take it in.

At the moment I don't think I could take sitting in one of those seats for 2 hours, even though things are a bit better.

Yea I know, I am late to the party. But we rented "Life of Pi" from Redbox last night. Visually stunning movie, thought provoking, and a great "Tip" on story telling. One of my favorite films. right up there with "The right stuff" and "Empire Strikes back"

Also got Borderlands 2 via steam. Quite fun and enjoyable "Loot" FPS. Playing as the Assassin Zero, which reflects my play style. Sniping and Stealth, followed by Cloaking and Melee attack

I'm now officially an award winning graphic designer. Next year, if they assign me again, which they better because I ****ing won you an award damnit, I'm gunning for a best in class award.

I feel weird taking so much credit because it really was a team effort, but I did lead the design and a ton of the stuff that got cited as a reason we won was my idea.

Good job!

The weather around here sucks. Kind of a crappy holiday weekend. Still... if my back was in better condition, I'd be out trying to do something.

Instead, I'm catching up on movies, books, and games.

Things I learned while playing Kerbal Space Programme:

1) Rocket Science is HARD

2) Fuel weighs a lot.

3) It takes a lot of fuel to break into orbit

4) Piloting a space craft is HARD.

So far, the body count is 12 Kerbal Citizens have lost their lives.

Cracken, I just downloaded the demo. Flying in space isn't that hard if you know what you are doing, and knowing how limited you are on what you do. Fuel and rocket technology is one of the reasons our space program hasn't done much. They say that with the old space shuttle, it could expend all of it's onboard fuel and only be able to change it's orbit inclination by 3 degree's. Tho it would be nice if you could have a spot on the Nav ball that would help you target for a stable orbit

I was able to reach orbit with the 2 stage demo ship with boosters on the 2nd try and only about a 3% eccentricity. my perihelion was just under 80k and my aphelion was around 500k. I was quickly able to notice that there was no atmospheric drag slowing me down. So my guy went EVA, and due to my lack of EVA experience quickly got separated and lost in space

bought a nice green tshirt today and a pair of shorts.

I'm getting annoyed on facebook, everybodys thanking soldiers that are alive and not the ones that are dead. memorial day is to honor those service members that died, veterans day is to honor those that served, and armed forces day is for everyone that served or is serving. how hard is it?!

Thanks. I'm really proud of it, but strangely reluctant to show it to anyone (even though its a public document!) because I feel so self conscious about it.

Plus my negativeness knows no bounds and I only see the warts and scars all over it. I always know I can do better. That and I know where the spots are that...ideas were turned down or some things just didn't work the way we were hoping or whatever.

Figure it's probably worth a couple thousand the next time I'm job hunting and have it on my resume though.

Because it is easy. It is easy to support the warrior, but harder to support the war. People buy a magnetic yellow ribbon and think they support troops, but they don't know how little support troops get after their service. it is hard to thank a person who is dead, and why they made the ultimate sacrifice and how.

it's not that hard, just thank their families, visit memorials, little things like that. i dont think i'll get much support when i get back stateside, it will be boring life as usual, only this time i'll have money in the bank, won't have to work, college paid for. i'm really looking forward to coming home and hopefully starting a better life for myself.

I'm using the Demo version, and used the default booster rocket and was easily able to achieve a 200k equatorial stable orbit and I even had plenty of Fuel to land back near the space port.

Then I built a rocket with 3 stages, 6 booster, with a 3 engine first stage that got me into Mun orbit and back. Basically did an Apollo 8 mission with one crewman.

The big trick is to use the navigation aid after your initial boost and your apoapsis is above 70k, then near apoapsis you can do a prograde burn to increase and normalize your obit. Just click on your orbit and and add a maneuver, a wheel will pop up and you just pull the prograde handle until your orbit is close to where you want it. Maneuver your craft until you face the blue cross on your nav ball and start your burn about 10 seconds before the maneuver point (I normally need a 20-25sec orbital insertion burn)

I hate you for mentioning this game, I am so hooked on it. Now I want to build bases on all the planets and a big space station.

went from 210 to 203 in a week...chicken breast fillet diet ftw. hopefully i can continue at this rate and be down to 150 by the time i start college. not just dieting alone though, been keeping up with the PT to burn the fat off. made decision to stay away from carbs and sugary foods, really wanting to see the results, patience and persistence will pay off i'm sure.

Man, it's getting to be hot out there. I always hate running in the heat. Fortunately, I bought some shorts and a shirt made to keep you cool while running. I tried them this morning, and it made a huge difference.

ah, its not humid here. humidity sucks, and if it were humid i would see the reasoning why people are so upset and angry, but it's not so they need to stfu, drink more water and acclimatize!

The heat and humidity have arrived here! Just yesterday morning, the heat came on. Now we are looking down the barrel of a 90+ degree (f) heat wave with awful sticky humidity.

Time to pack the space heaters and humidifiers away, and break out the AC units, all the floor and window fans, and de-humidifiers.

Sounds like a good time for my back.

I feel like I'm almost back to normal with that too... just a touch of stiffness and a slight ache when I first get out of bed every morning. I think it's time for a new mattress/ box spring anyway... mine's old, and it was cheap when I got it.
