I occasionally log in, but having to run around doing every single little errand for an Empire I hate purely to get to the level I need to progress my class storyline just gets dull.

I'm Mandalore, KotOR scripter-for-hire. Some know me, most don't. Here I am either way.

I gave up a couple of months ago as I was just tired of the lack of new endgame content and how they were rehashing existing content for raid progression. The cartel store also definitely contributed to my losing interest.

I still have some characters I'd like to level up but I only see myself doing that if they bring back double xp weekends.
They give you now XP boost for being member of guild and if you activate all xp bonus from legacy should compensate double xp weekends.
Toked me 3 weeks to make a level 55 shadow and I like to waste time and enjoy the conversations and exploring.

Technically I'm still in, but since this is the middle of the second semester of uni and I have a lot of assignments due, I haven't played for about two weeks. I am interested in update 2.4 for the PvP arena stuff...

I have sort of a Love/Hate relationship with it. I'll do a week or so and generally enjoy it, run a couple of Ops get some gear... Then its back to hate again. I've never rated it as even close to it's full potential, but its still has that potential! It desperately needs to open up, thematically, exploratively and factionally... I need to be able to play this as an MMO, and it doesn't play like that in my opinion. the community and exploration are purposely nerfed, for reasons I cant figure out. From what I hear of the secret space project, things could be going in the right direction, I just hope they release it in time.

Aw, seriously?! Suppose you've logged many more playing hours than I have. I still have yet to create toons for all the classes and have been seriously neglecting my Imperial ones. I'd actually like to have more time to play, but I can see how once you've reached endgame status with all your toons that it could get a bit boring.

I'm still playing it though, when I have the time.

@OP: Since May of this year, started playing, when my roommate moved in. Sporadic basis. Depends on both my availability and vacancy of the machine. What ultimately maters is how generous my roomie is feeling on a particular day. His acct., his machine afterall.

I might make a harbinger server toon to meet up with Totenkopf and Trench should anyone care to tag along. Otherwise I'll be on the Bergeren Colony server if anyone needs a Shadow Consular's general help or crystals to be crafted--I'll try to give a somewhat better deal.

Edit:
--Looks like I give a MUCH better deal than GTN. I still profit and undercut the norm. Few if any artifice made 'useless' items have not sold. Only time I'm hurting for credits are when I haven't sent comps out on missions to scavenge. It isn't as lucrative as in other games but it works keeping a 'toon afloat.

We'll murder them all, amid laughter and merriment...except for the few we take home to experiment!

Started F2P in Jan and finally hit something of a wall. Gonna take a break (except for 2x points thing Nov27-Dec 2) from game for next two months other than cycling crew skill missions (which takes almost no time at all). Hopefully I'll feel more interested again come Jan.

I don't really have the time to play any games right now. Maybe if I were on break or something...

Okay, that's not quite true. I have the time. I am simply terrible at budgeting it.

I came back after I'd left early this year (and I'd started like December of last year for the first time). Took my level 30 sorc up to 49 as of last night and loving it. My plan for this game is just to max his level (and gear and comp gear), and then solo lower-level content so I can feel like a supreme badass xD

Plus, I'll be helping out lowbies with their quests and such. (Again, feeling like a supreme badass) LOL

I finally gave up playing because there's no way to talk my way out of a fight. Oh sure, I sometimes have the option of saying "Let's be reasonable about this," but it never succeeds.

That right there is called false advertizing.

Please stop using "I have a bad feeling about this." It's Han Solo's line; he'd like it back.

You're wrong... there are plenty of places where I've talked my way out of a fight during different class stories and avoided battles entirely. It's not always the "let's talk about it option" and it's never just that simple as selecting a single option, you sometimes have to go through a sequence of dialogue choices to convince your enemy to stand down for whatever reason.

Also, it's not false advertising, it's called not trusting your enemy.

Like Lynk wrote, I never remember it as being as simple as just choicing "Let's be reasonable about this" option. You usually have to pick the correct 2nd and sometimes a third correct option to avoid a fight. Smuggler and Agent seem to have the most of these options, which actually make sense to me storywise.

I have level 2 smugglers to 55, 1 knight to 55, 2 Consulars (1 55 the other 49), 1 Trooper 55, 1 Warrior to 50, 1 BH to 55, 1 Agent to 55, so the only one I don't know about is the Inquisitor (Lynk has all classes to 55, but knight), so we both know these options are there.

It isn't a false advertising issue, it is a learn to play issue. You really have to pay attention to the dialgue to avoid fights. If you are spacebaring though the coversation, then no, you are not going to be able to avoid the fight unless you just get lucky picking the right options.

just got playing on Oricon, that's sweet that they keep adding new worlds to this game!!! current gear is crap, it's mixed.. with campaign field tech boots, campaign field tech bracers, recruit enforcer mk2 belt, tionese enforcer chest, tionese enforcer headgear, [artifact]td-21a dread scout gloves...according to the elder game guide on swtor.com i should be going for dailies and getting the black market targeter gear. which is better for damage though, field tech or professional? or is field tech for sniper and professional for gunslinger?

When buying gear with comms (without set bonus) don't worry about what class it is for, pick the gear that most improves you stats. If you are playing a sniper, then you want 1) Cunning, 2) get accuracy to 100/110 tech (or as close as possible) then fill in with power and surge. Most crap has way too much crit and endurance. So mix and match until you get what you want. I think I bought 5 or 6 pair of boots to get unlettered mods and get my accuracy where it needed to be on my slinger. I even was buying healer gear, just for power enhancements.

Now when you get gear with set bonus, then make sure it is for your class. But it is only on the armor, so you can still mix and match mods and enhancements.

Also where have you been, I leveled my BH to 55 over the weekend and never saw you on to add to the guild.

Your gear is most likely fine for Oricon, I went through it on my shadow on most Rakata and Blackhole gear, but if you find me online, I will take my agent with you through it. Can't promise it will be fast, but can promise you will not die.

thanks for the tips, mim it helped...now im mixed set but lowest gear rating is 148, and highest at 162. mixing and matching the mods and enhancement is very time consuming, but really pays off!!!

Well it looks like Lynk and Mim are still here at least. I am going to sneak back in the back door. Hopefully ....got a new better system and maybe it will help. Also did some intense work in another MMO and actually made some progress learning skills, we will see.

glad you are ..some of you ..still here.

I still log on, but my work schedule is erratic and full, so I tend to just play dress up and check my inventory, I rarely have time to quest.

UPDATE: made it in, i guess i was on Corellia, doing the missoins there.

uh, how do i get the info to reset my Skill Points? they are all returned. a LOT of em . I am a Jedi Guardian class. thanks for advice on that, remember Lynk and Mim you both had a site with good info on what to set.

I've gotten a new graphics card and did a fun run with the guild on the weekend, but I stil don't have much time to play at the moment... bleah. I don't seem to have much time to do much of anything these days, it's depressing.

It is bad, I having had much time lately. Mainly now just logging on Sunday Nights and Tuesday nights for raids. Still try to do a few dailies during the week to just cover repair cost. When we start NIM I will have to play more just to cover the extra cost.

It's a fun game, but I've lost my interest in playing it.

Forgive, but never forget. No amount of DLC can take back lying to your fan base. Trust is earned, not downloaded.

Pretty much this.
With all the stuff scaling to my PC's level, I just didn't feel like doing it anymore, it started feeling completely pointless.
