Hi there, just registered to say what amazing work is going on in this thread guys. I hope to get some canvasses printed soon.

Quick question... page 20 there is this pic...

5th canvas along, TOMI poster.

Is that copy part of this thread anywhere? I've had a look through but cant see it? Would love to have the full MI collection, but TOMI only seemed to have the 'mock film poster' on Adventure-Treff.

I just looked through my game folders and I couldn't find one. So I busted out my Special Edition DVD from TellTale and although its the cardboard cover to the DVD with that poster, it doesn't seem to come with a digital version of it on the DVD.

Unless someone else knows better, I'd say we'd have to ask TellTale if they'd release it, or else everyone would have to just scan in their own DVD cover for themselves.

I'll check if Telltale is still selling Purcell's prints. If they don't, I'll add it.

It looks like they've cleared out all their merchandise now, except the Surfin' the Highway paperback. Any chance we could get the Sam and Max seasons 1-3 boxart posters up here too?

TheScummBar is back, and has a section on Tales of MI. They have several cover arts for the game, including a not-large one of the one we're talking about:

Hello Laserschwert,

I know this is a lucas forum but would it be possible to have a Gabriel Knight 2 poster? I think the box art provides excellent material for such thing. I can provide you with a copy of an EDGE magazine where you might be able to get a larger scan.

This famous scene from Day of the Tentacle would make a pretty awesome poster.

A guy painted it on his wall, here: http://pixelguerilla.org/dott/?cat=3

Is anyone able to re-upload all the posters that were shared via rapidspread (that file sharing host is dead. There are several Monkey Island 1 posters I'd love to get and aren't on the German Adventure site.

Which ones aren't available at the Adventure-Treff site?

I believed at one point there was 6 versions of the Monkey Island poster, one of those had the new colour and clouds but also had the logo on the front. It's possible I'm mistaken

Originally there were 3 (logo, no logo and clouds) but the colors were messed up. Then I fixed the colors for all three, so there were 6. Then I removed the ones with messed up color, so we're back down to 3 and those 3 are available at the Adventure-Treff.

As the first post of this thread says, all of the full size posters (including the Grim Fandango mural) are still available for direct download at Adventure Treff.

Alright, to end this confusion I gave the opening posts a major overhaul, fixing all broken links and images. There you go!

I bow down to the man who made these; they're amazing. I'm so tempted to actually go out and get one printed.

They remind me how much I love Steve Purcell's original Monkey Island box art. Those are the faces of Guybrush, LeChuck, et al, that I'll always have in my mind. The repainted versions for the special editions never quite did it for me and seemed to lose a lot of the charm.

You can see a more detailed view of the pendant here: http://newsradiofanfic.angelfire.com/pendant.jpg (cut-and-paste URL because of stupid Angelfire 'roadblock' link)

I built the horned idol myself about 8 years ago. The outer skin is real copper, but the inside is resin-filled, with a cylinder of sand in the base for a good, solid heft. The whole statue probably weighs close to five pounds. I recently acquired the stone disk set from an artisan in Italy who specializes in Indiana Jones prop replicas. He made them in a very limited run, and it cost me a small fortune, but it's the crown jewel in my FOA collection. The entire prop is fully-functional, and the disks can be dialed on the spindle exactly like in the game (except the spindle button does not press down). The base measures 15 and 1/2 inches square, and about 4 inches in height with all three stones stacked onto the spindle. Truly a work of art.

I'm in awe of those props. That's quite the collection you have there. I still remember that lunar puzzle teaching me what a waxing and waning moon was for the first time as a kid.

That huge Monkey Island canvas has to be my favourite. I think I'd have a total nerdgasm if I went to a guy's house and saw that hanging on the well.

Thanks. They're my favorite (and only) Indy props. I recently re-painted the Nur-Ab-Sal pendant to give it a more ancient, weathered look:

Hey everybody. I have looked through all the posts, and I didn't see what I was looking for. What size posters does everybody use to print these out? I can't seem to find a size that fits the images perfectly.

That was one in a series of posters signed by artist Dave Dorman which were available in movie magazines back in the 1990's. I got the Indiana Jones
Thunder in the Orient print in 1994, for only $50. I really wish they made a poster of the FOA graphic novel artwork:

Sophia Hapgood does my bidding.

The Staff of Kings Nintendo Power artwork reminds me that there is a rather excellent Maniac Mansion clay cover used for issue #16. Has anybody thought to make a poster of that baby? I wonder if it's possible to identify the guy responsible for that. I know there were similar covers in the earliest Nintendo Power days.

Concept art.

Concept art, compiled on Mixnmojo:
http://mixnmojo.com/mojo08/media/gal...on-Concept-Art

The first one here would make a really cool poster.

Famicom Maniac Mansion

The Japanese Famicom release of Maniac Mansion also has pretty cool art. Moor cartoony than the NES release.
