Yeah, but I already mentioned blaster.

The point I was making was that the droids are self-aware, independent elements in the story, which sets them apart from mere technology.

I mean, if you take the definitions far enough, the Human characters can be considered biotechnology...and then our list gets silly.

However: the CGI characters, being entirely digital in composition, should get a mention in the technology list. So--
