I've played them all. Those are my second favorite type next to the Star Wars ones. I'm actually playing FF9 for about the sixth time at the moment. I only stop to get on the internet.
Can't wait for FFX to come out, its gonna be great.

Hybrid Heaven is a fighting rpg. I don't really care for the rpgs which have spell casting in them.

I've heard Chrono Cross is a good stand alone game, but a horrible sequel to the great Chrono Trigger, is it true?

Okay, in reply to what Tie Guy said. I have the RPG toolkit. It is pretty easy to use, except for several programming things that can be a pain in the butt. However, I am making good progress with the thing.
Before this thing is hijacked, has anyone ever played the online RPG, RuneScape?

its a lot diferent than the original. Its a great game, and as a sequel you have to know a lot of background information between the 2 games to realize hoe good a sequel it is. Its based on radical dreamers, the original sequel to chrono trigger, which was never released in the US. once you read the translation for that game, EVERYTHING makes sense

Radical Dreamers was a text game, it wouldn't be real popular with the folks in the US had they released it here. By the way who do you speculate won the fight between Frog and magus in one of the endings?

I just recently got Final Fantasy 7 and it's a lot of fun but I'm really bad at it. I can't even get past the first boss thing. Is there a trick to it?

The trick is to not attack while it's tail is in the air. If you do it will counter attack. Take that time to heal.
I still can't beat the Emerald weapon. I use Knights of the Round and mime and all the best limit breaks and try to heal often but i still can't even come close.

FFVII: The first boss?! Okay...... basic stratagy here.
Since barret can't use magic at this point, have him attack with normal attack. have Cloud use lightning magic, since he is a mechanical boss, he will have weakness to lightning. when he raises his tail, for the love of god DON'T ATTACK! He'll use an attack which, if you don't have full HP, will level your characters. Keep healed, and use your head. It should be cake walk....
Now, Ruby WEAPON, *shudder....*

Emerald? Here's how i did it, after 40 tries.
Be level 99. It's a necessity. if you don't, yer DEAD. Also, use as little materia as possible. that's right. why? because the Aire Tam Storm attack bases it's dmg on how much materia you have equiped! (Aire Tam spelled backwards is Mat Eria.... Materia.) so, try to get by on bare minimum. I know it sometimes isn't possible with HP and MP plus, but do yer best.
okay. here we go.
On one character, have KoR+Mp-turbo. have KoR+MP-Absorb. Have mime. have w-summon.
next character, have mime, Final Attack+pheinox. Have Restor (MAXED)+All
Next, same deal. as character #2.
okay, now, the first char should only take 6666 dmg from Aire Tam, second and third only 5555 dmg. I THINK. if you want to add HP and MP Plus, go ahead, just make sure you can survive the Aire Tam. (Dmg is delt like this. amt of Materia equiped*1111, I think)
ALso, the underwater materia. good idea to have at this point.
OKAY! NOW, we are READY!
STart off with KoR, and mime that *****. when you heal, make sure the guy with KoR is ready to start again IMEEDIATLY AFTER THE HEAL, for miming purposes.
also, the final attack pheinox combo can keep you alive for a long time (5 charges, i think.)
And yes, all this materia is mastered materia.
That's how i managed to do it, and it took a long time.

Yeah, but it takes forever to get all the materia masterd. I've got most of the stuff mastered, but i only got one mime and 1 KOR. Maybe i'm just to lazy to take the time to build them up.
Thanks!

Iuse Cloud..... and who ever i feel like. In FFVII, these characters are more defined by the Materia than actual stats. there are no class distinctions, sojust choose whom ever you wish. I used Cloud, Cid, and Tifa.

'yes'...that's very deep Tie Guy.
Did you like it? And who is your favorite character to use. I like Whorange, although I have no idea how to spell his name, and Nina.
