How on earth do I finish the bonus mission 2 for Galactic Empire?

the objective, i think, is to hold out the rebels as long as possible. It is pretty hard to do.

Objective is defend generator during 25 minutes. Rebels don't have a chance with their ground forces, but they do with air.

My strategy was:
1. All ground troops, except mechs, garrisoned within turrets.
2. Built 5 AA turrets (3 inside inner perimeter, 2 at the west corner of base)
3. Build 5 AA troops and deploy them inside inner perimeter.
4. All ATs defend west corner.

Well, this thread is older than the hills but if anyone cares my strategy was to build three Anti-Air towers, two power cores and two shield generators that both covered the center. I kept two workers handy to do repairs in case they ever damaged it, but they never did.

I moved some of the troops around and attacked but it would have taken far more than 25 minutes for the computer to knock it out. I thought this one was a bit too easy.
