NEW discovery (I think) the zone has changed some of it's info!

I thought I remembered reading that force rage had 4 levels of power instead of 3, so I checked the zone page to make sure. It turns out that I was proven wrong... I generally have a fairly decent memory, so I was confused about where I heard it from then...

However, I was recently checking through a few older posts (a couple days old) and noticed that it I was right, and that the original zone page has been changed!

This is what they first said about force rage...
__________________________________________________ __
Rage
Duration 10-30 seconds

Effect Frenzy of speed; drains your health; healing time matches usage

Level 1 10-second Rage; 10-second health recovery

Level 2 20-second Rage; 20-second health recovery

Level 3 30-second Rage; 30-second health recovery

Dark Rage (more powerful Rage) Fire 33% faster; move 2x faster; decrease damage taken by 50%; can't die. Recovery after Dark Rage: Fire 50% slower; move at 75% normal speed
__________________________________________________ __

Now, a few days later, it was changed to this....

__________________________________________________ __
Dark Rage
Duration 10-30 seconds

Effect Fire 33% faster; move 2x faster; decrease damage taken by 50%; can't die. Recovery after Dark Rage: Fire 50% slower; move at 75% normal speed.

Level 1 10-second Rage; 10-second health recovery

Level 2 20-second Rage; 20-second health recovery

Level 3 30-second Rage; 30-second health recovery

Notice that the entire force power is now called "Dark Rage" while originally only the level 4 Force Rage was called that. Also, noticed that the Orginal Dark Rage, is now the way the entire force power works...

Also, a minor detial, but this is what they originially said about the missle launcher weapon...

__________________________________________________
Merr Sonn (9)
Description: A rocket launcher is your friend when your target is far away, but don't go using your Merr Sonn in tight spaces.

Primary: Single unguided missile.

Secondary: Single guided missile. It takes a second for your aiming reticle to lock on to a target. Fire when the reticle turns red.
__________________________________________________ __

But this is what they added to it recently...

Primary: Single unguided missile.

Secondary: Guided missile (uses up 2x ammo). It takes a second for your aiming reticle to lock on to a target. Fire when the reticle turns red.

Notice, they added the "uses 2x ammo" just recently.

I'm still checking over the site to see what else was changed...

BTW, I got the original Force Rage quotes from a reply that I did, when I was quoting what the zone said, and I got the Merr Sonn original quote from the post Obi made about the new changes to the zone. So, both are accurate, and the zone had indeed changed the descriptions. Try checking it again, and see if you find anything new.

More new info...

This is what the old bacta tanks said...

These canisters of blue liquid also replenish your health. They are harder to find, but will give you a bigger boost of health compared to Medpacs.

This is what the new bacta tanks say...

These canisters of blue liquid also replenish your health, but rather than taking instant effect you can control when to use them, providing a boost to your health at a critical moment. They are harder to find, but will give you more health compared to Medpacs.

Notice that they can now be picked up and used when you want....

I asked about bactas at the chat, because I noticed that mistake on the zone, they didn't mention the way they worked
good to know that they are like the original ones

Another change....

_______________________________________________
Disruptor (4)
Description: A brutal weapon, the DXR-6 Disruptor destroys at the molecular level. The shot reaches the target instantaneously, making it the most accurate pinpoint weapon available. Add a scope in secondary fire mode and you can kill from a great distance.

Primary: Single-shot, low rate of fire, instant attack.

Secondary: Same as primary fire, but with a scope.

Now it says...

Primary: Single-shot, low rate of fire, instant attack.

Secondary: Press the Secondary Fire button to activate the scope. The longer you hold down the button, the further the scope zooms in. Hold down the Primary Fire button to prepare a shot.

Notice the changes to the discription, and to the secondary fire...

If I remember correctly the other change was in descriptin of primary bowcaster firing mode: first there was something like "hold down button for shotgun like blast", now it's "to fire 5 bolts" or something.

Right Proto

Quote:
Bowcaster (5)
Description: Chewie's preferred weapon, the Bowcaster is powerful but tricky to use. Its energy blast travels slowly, making a distant target difficult to hit. The primary fire mode gives you a slow-firing shotgun option.

Primary: Single-shot bolt of energy. Hold and release fire button for shotgun effect.

Secondary: Single-shot energy bolt that ricochets off hard surfaces.

Sadly, Jarras, there is no more changed information left now.... for now...

I'd reccomend that people keep checking the zone site, because this proves that the zone hasn't just put up this web page and let it rot there... There will be additional information added I am sure...

Also, I defiantly prefer the way Force Rage originally worked... over the new one.
