It is the same idea. The good thing about it being assests is that it starts with "A"
Pak files are read in order when the Launch. Lets say Assets had a file located in its textures/base_wall/ named johnny.tga
If I took that file out, put it in my PK3 file named Knight.pk3 so its path is textures/base_Wall/johnny.tga the game will look at that file as the more "up to date" version...
This happend because obviously "K" has a higher value then "A"
however in quake, you have to make sure the filename is above the value of P for Pak0, hence why thier pak files work in sucession pak1,2,3,4 etc.
