The yellow glow around the lightsaber
When I lose my lightsaber and I get it back with the force there is a yellow glowaround it so I would like to know if there is a way to get rid of it

i don't think it's easy to get rid of it. if at all, i think it's a rather major operation so maybe one could make a mod for it...
what would've been nice is that the yellow glow changes it's color according to the saber color present...

I never liked the yellow glow around my saber when I'm retrieving it.
Does my avatar make me look more serious, or just like a stupid DBZ junkie?

Story time  
But I know in single player...There is this level where you have a tower in the middle of the room, and the floor is like, "fully charged ", so you gotta jump from crate to crate, to get into the tower. Now since I was a dope, and didn't know I had to go out the window from above, I tried throwing my sabre everywhere. Now the floor was electrocuted, and my sabre kind of got inbetween a crate and myself, and it shut off and fell down. So I didn't have a sabre.
Thank God for the yellow glow, otherwise (on that floor) I would never find it again. As it turned out, the sabre rolled meters away after the fall (beats me how or why), but I was able to see it because of the glow. So I just jumped to the crate nearest to it, and force pulled my sabre

A reborn threw mine under a lfit once and i coud;n't get it back but it came back after abotui 30 secs. I also lost it in bespin and in nar. If it did'nto cme bakc i owudln't have a saber for msoto f the game.

just open up assests02.pk3 and look for the glow sprite and "modify" it with photoshop. you won't be able to join pure servers but if you want to get rid of it bad enough thats how you do it
