I was wondering if anyone else has been haveing problems connecting to and looking over the jediknightii.net site and these forums. There are times I cannot connect to the page/forums and when I do it is REALLY slow. Anyone else haveing this problem? Anyone know what might be causeing it? and no, its not my connection, others sites work fine
Yeah. The forums are down sometimes. The reason for that sometimes is that they have high server loads. I'm sure there are other reasons that they are down. Maybe an admin will reply with some better information so as to better help you out with your question.
Yeah this forum has more members registered than I've seen anywhere, so I'd imagine they just get too overloaded every now and then. Odd thing though...for me this place is always down at odd hours of the night, like at 3:00 in the morning when most normal people would be asleep. Is everyone here a bunch of dirty insomniacs or is it just me?
Is there another site that has MP FFA maps? I came to get some new maps but everything I try on www.jediknightii.net turns up 404 errors (and I say again its not my connection, other sites run fine) I was hopeing to pick up duel of fates map, pit of cakroon, and carbon freeze...but the site is fubar.
Believe me, the administration is aware of the speeds this site and the forums have. Unfortunately, there isn't too much we can do about it at this point.
