Is it true that there will be not be another official patch?

I hope not. I don't mind 1.03 but it would be a shame if Raven abandoned this game because there's still alot that can be fixed.

It wouldnt suprise me if they decided not to make another patch for JK2. Most of the people who are going to buy this game have already done so. Since they dont profit off pleasing people who've already purchased the game, they probably wont bother.

Let's say that they've abondoned JK2 and won't make another patch (Although, that may not be the case), but let's pretend it's that way. I know I ain't gonna by an expansion for this game.
And I hope most people who are unsatisfied with the community support don't do it either.

That way, companys know that they will suffer greatly in future realeases if they ship a game, earns a lot of money, and then abandons all support for it.

didn't someone from raven say that he might be able to do some fixes on his spare time if the team didn't take it up? Don't go all crazy and start rumors but I remember reading that somewhere.

There are no plans "at the moment" for an official patch. LucasArts may decide to patch it again if we bug them enough. Remember its not Ravens decision. One of the Raven programmers has said if they don't patch it would try to make an unofficial mod to make the changes.

I know I'm sometimes a Raven basher, but I worry that Raven will abandon this game because they have done it before. They abondoned Hexen2world still in beta loaded with bugs! Heretic II they threw together some poorly tested patches and then left once they fixed it. Elite Force is the only game they got right when it came to support.

I don't get it with Raven, I mean Blizzard is still working on Diablo II which came out 2 years ago. THen there are the people who made Half Life!! Half Life is like 4 years old now and they are still working on that game, now I admire that

Raven, all we want is all the issues related to gameplay fixed and the freezing bug fixed......and a single player mission pack

. Also, can Mark Hamill come back like Jeri Ryan did for Elite Force? That'd be cool! Even get him do to a new taunt; get him to say what he said in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, "Don't **** with a Jedi master son" I thought that was so cool

It's not Raven's decision. Contracted dev companies don't do patches unless they are commissioned and paid to do so by the publisher.
There will be a patch if LucasArts wants one. But don't blame Raven if LucasArts decides not to have them make a patch.

Blizzard is still working on Diablo 2 because they are being paid to. The same goes with Valve and CS.

Mero Vilul, I'm not sure where you're getting this idea from that they make "lots of money" off of the sales of this game. I would doubt that even 10% of Raven employees' salary is from royalties.
Raven makes their money from being contracted by companies like id and LucasArts.
