Map Idea : Gungan City

hey

i can't make maps worth **** probly but then again ive never tried...so excuse me for not trying myself but id rather someone with good talents try lol

i was just wondering why no one has made a gungan city map

i mean think about it...if u can put water in the wall and it work just fine, making a gungan city wouldn't be hard at all(i think.....)

so we could go in and out of the water even if u couldn't stay out long lol

but anyway my point is it would be cool if someone made a Gungan City map...but im not sure if its possible or not

so if anyones up for it i think it would be a great map idea

With all that transparency it would be the map from hell (along with other reasons)
:/

I am altering the deal. Pray I don't alter it further.

Hey, even I get boarded sometimes.

i think it might be doable, depending on how you organized the areas.

i'm kind of interested in doing it, maybe as my next project, but that'll be a couple of weeks from now.

there are two reasons why this really appealling. the place looks cool, and it gives a great backdrop for slaughtering gunguns.

omg....why didn't I think of this somewhat before????

This is one of the most incredible places in Ep1, and I would LOVE to see this as a map for JK2....what do you say guys.....would it be possible??

I started a duel level as this sometime ago. The issue is that in order to get a realistic looking environment you need to have clarity, and see beyond to the various bubbles and lights, if this is done via brushwork it will be unplayable. If this is done via a skybox... Well let's just say it would have to be the best Skybox in the history of Q3A for it to even resemble the gungan city enough for folks to recognize it. It'd have to be a downright inhuman skybox.

I don't think it would be entirely possible as a single player level unless you seriously compromised some of the architecture.

Good luck to whoever tries it, don't say I didn't warn you.

Thumbs up

Great idea! Is anyone going to try? I can't.
