Post Happy Birthday Episode V...TESB!

I don't know what day The Empire Strikes Back was released, but here are some facts you probably diddn't know about the 'fan favourite':

>When the TIE fighter crashes into an oncoming asteroid, you can see an unlucky pilot get thrown into the vaccum of space.

>On Bespin, a panicked citezen in an orange suit can be seen running away with an ice cream-making machine.

>When Leia remarks 'It's a trap!' to Luke, the General who pulls her back is yes, Jeromy Bulloch...aka Boba Fett.

>On one of the close-ups of Threepio's head, you see a brief reflection of the camera. Also, he 'breaks the fourth wall' when he remarks 'Typical' in echo base. Did he speak to the camera?

Lastly,
>When the stormtroopers throw Han in his cell, he almost pulls a trooper's helmet off. Look for yourselves!

Either that, or he's really good at typing from a certain magazine Also, you're a little late, Tom; TESB celebrated its 20th anniversary on the 21st May.

Anybody else noticed that Han is frozen with his jacket on, but in ROTJ when he is released, it's missing? Hmm...

And the ice-cream machine? Fact: Lucas took it home with him once the movie was over.

Actually, 3PO is muttering to himself when he says 'Typical'. Anybody with a brain the size of an ant's testicle should be able to realise that.

Ahh, now I see why Tom doesn't...

Ummmm....you sure about that Dave?

Han doesn't have a jacket when he gets frozen. He loses his jacket after Vader shows up in the dining room. When he's being interrogated and lowered to that electronic torture device, he's jacketless I'm pretty sure..

. I believe Zanzibar is correct. Though you’ll notice that Han is wearing a different shirt...

Ahh, yes, mistake. However, he is wearing his jacket in close-ups of his face before he's frozen.

Yes, Empire. Your mistake. Either A) I am obsevent while watching the movie or B) I am observant while looking at a magazine. Anyway, why would Threepio need to waste power by talking to himself?

>Another thing that does not make sense is Threepio says a lot of un-droid like things. For example, when he is strapped to Chewbacca's back he shouts 'Stop! I'm not ready to die!'. Droids don't die, and why should they be afraid to. He also bangs his head and said 'owch! that hurt!'

Why is it so far-fetched that a droid could have emotions? Certainly they could feel things and pain would probably be translated by degree of damage. There’s no reason why they wouldn’t use the same terminology as people‚ and as far as I’m concerned‚ permanent loss of consciousness and selfawareness is as close to dying as makes no odds.

Well, Saesee Jackass, he talks to himself while wandering through the desert in the first film.

Also, in ESB, 3PO says, "We're trying to save Han from the bounty hunter!"
I think that's the only time in the trilogy that he calls Han that- every other time, it's "Captain Solo".

Get lost Empire, you sad pathetic individual. Since you've joined you have contributed to none of the game topics. Instead, you opt to make fun of everybody, just like before. Do us all a favour and go crawl and die in a sewer. You don't belong on this forum.
