He died at Henry VII Hospital on Saturday. Cause of death has not been released. He was taken ill at his home on Thursday. George Lucas has made a special tribute to him, saying he was "one of the most talented and respected actors of his generation".
A moment of silence for the legend, if you please.

But he hated Star Wars... You've got to help me. This is a code red emergency. It has nothing to do with Sir Alec, but I've been 'banned for the time being. this is the same as Dave Maul.

yes, he didn't care for starwars, but he acted good regardless, Obi-Wan(of course) was my favorite character and when i found this out, it was very sad news because Sir Alec Baldwin portrayed Obi-Wan greatly as a Jedi Knight, i found it interesting that he was a Knight of England too

Um...Matt? I think you mean Alec Guinness. Alec Baldwin is the young one married to Kim Basinger.

Thank God I'm free! Last night I couldn't log on in my username (neither TDM), something about being banned. is this because of what I said about Joe Joe (Dictionary Dave-Maul-ia), or is it something to do with when he used my name (way, way back before EOTE)? Hmm...never mind, it's sorted out now.
It's good to be back...
