An idea to get Master Qui-Gon back here.
I saw a movie last night on the BBC wich gave me an idea, let's say, if he doesn't come back here, we will send him a mail wich will only contain one word, namely : "NI"! or maybe a couple of Ni's or that Eki-Eki bit. BTW, I hope this makes sence to most of you. Otherwise visit a random Monty Python site. (yes I know, I am mad)

I know what you're talking about...
Quote:
ARTHUR: I have no quarrel with you, but I must cross this bridge.
BLACK NIGHT: Then you shall die.
They fight and Arthur lops off the Black Knight's left arm.
ARTHUR: Now stand aside.
BLACK NIGHT: Tis but a scratch.
ARTHUR: A scratch? Your arm's off!
BLACK NIGHT: I've had worse...come on, you pansy!
They fight again, Arthur chops off the Knight's right arm.
ARTHUR: Victory is mine!
BLACK NIGHT: Had enough, eh?
ARTHUR: Look, you stupid b***ard. You've got no arms left.
BLACK NIGHT: Just a flesh wound.
He kicks Arthur, who retaliates and severs the Knight's right leg.
BLACK NIGHT: I'll do you for that!
ARTHUR: What are you going to do, bleed on me?
Arthur lops off the Black Knight's remaining leg.
BLACK NIGHT: Oh, all right, we'll call it a draw.

HA! I say "NI" whenever I like!
BTW, does anyone know if "The Holy Grail" still available on video?(I coudn't record it because my mom was recording something else at the time (Inspector Morse for those who'd like to know, but it had Ian Mcdiarmid(Palpatine) in it, so it's OK))

Yeah, according to imdb.com it is available on DVD and VHS. According to amazone.com, the DVD version isn't really any better than the tape version (still horrible quality, no extras except some trailers for other movies, etc).
So good luck..

Great! But what do you mean with "terrible quality", do you think the movie is terrible or just the terrible camera it was filmed with?

The grainy image of the film. And DVD's supposed to give you sharper images...
I'm sure you can find it in a bargain bin somewhere. WH Smiths have a selection of "Cinema Club" videos that are about £5.99 and include films from those years.

Nice, but we don't have WH Smiths over here(I did hear about it tough, on a couple of british TV-Stations we have over here).
And Dave, I registered to your forum, but when I tried to post something, it claimed that I didn't exist. Hmmm... Perhaps I should try it again.
Oh yeah, Those who like my idea of mailing to Master Qui-Gon say: "AYE". Those who don't like it say: "NI".

Ah well, you can find those videos in almost any high street shop.
About the forum, I've changed the security on it, so you don't even have to register. It'd be nice though...what did you think during your brief stay?
From our discussions about which is better, DC or PS2, you seemed as though you have a Dreamcast. Do you?

And even if I would change it, it would be "I am father's brothers nephews cousins former roommate".

To answer that question about the Holy Grail, you can get it on video. I saw it in my wallmart just the other day. There were about 3 or 4 copies of it. So yes you can get it on video.Try the humor section of the video section of your wal-mart for it.May not be at your wal-marts,but it's just a hunch.

Thanks, but we don't have wall-mart over here either.
I think that I'm going to visit my local equalivant of Blockbusters (something we don't have over here either) and take a look there.
Oh yeah, just saw "The meaning of Life" yesterday. I was a quite a bit offended, but that should be because I'm a catholic. I did enjoy those Seaman-style fishes though. Just not the bits that had anything to do with reproduction or private parts.(I was raised in a very old fashioned way)

The Meaning of Life isn't the greatest, but some of the scenes are brilliant, especially that Catholic scene! ( Sorry Pedro )

Ah, it's nothing. But you're right, I've seen only 2 Monthy Python movies, and I must say that "The Meaning of Life" is a lot worse then "The Holy Grail", thank heavens that those Seaman are in there to save the movie. (now let's just hope that the fish in the game speak like Monthy Python members.)

Wish I could do that. I'm allowed to open 1 present on Christmas Eve, and all I have this year are a DC and some games. And I can't open the DC. So, I'm screwed...
