Or, if you just want to change the way the weapons work (and ignore the actual models), they you'll have to learn a little cogging.

Good news is that you can cog with just notepad; it's just cut-and-paste.

Hmmm, cogs in guns- that hasn't been done since flintlocks, if i am right.

You need JED. you can get it at massassi.net also dl there tutorial for making weapon models. If you can't make head or tails of it, go ahead and ask some more questions.

There's also a few 3do editing tools (update me if I forget any other good ones) like JOKE if you don't want to use JED or do it by hand in notepad. You can also export from 3DS Max, but I'm not sure how well it carries over.
