Weather effects update?

I was on jk2files looking around and I noticed this post in their news section about updated weather effects. I haven't really checked it out much yet, but if i'm understanding this right this download will allow you to use weather effect in MP, and it's from some guy at ravensoft too.

How do u use them? Cause i might just make a map to test em out to see if they look anygood. Is there only snow and rain cause it would be cool for a sandstorm one where a sandstorm starts every so often then stops after say 2 mins.

Thats not a bad idea, but first, has anyone tried it out yet to see if they work??
