Lightbulb Has everyone stopped playing Promod or something?

I went to Artifex's server and it was empty. My server has been pretty much dead all day, hardly anyone. Is something going on today that I don't know about? Or has everyone lost interest in this great mod for some reason.

I'm based in the UK so Artifex's server has too high a ping for me to use (around 180), and most of the (few) other ProMod servers are either empty or also have enormous pings.

Not that I can play on anything other than a BY server due to a dodgy router problem anyway. *grumble grumble*

Looking at qtracker last night, it seemed to me that most every server was pretty busy. Even noticed one up in Japan of all places.

Well when the final edition is released I'll run the mod on our server but until that day I'm sticking with jedimod, if only because its got multi duelling, and there a couple of issues that artifex is dealing with that should make the mod more suitable for our server.

well rad, what i do is set it fully private when there is no admin around, when I'm there I set it at 4 private 4 publicand as the regulars join i decrease the number of slots decrementally, but its just a case of trial or error. btw took the ip off the list mate, OK?

Aye, I knew you did it before your post because I tried to get on earlier as well. Good fighting earlier, BTW.

Well, the main reason ProMod went down the tubes for this current time is because most of the servers went into DUEL mode.
Who wants to spend 5 min in line, just to saber fight and possibly die in 1 hit? and Wait another 5 min?

Big Mistake!

It needs to be CTF/CTY/TEAM FFA/FFA only

Current in-game name is #include

...

The reason there aren't any promod servers is because it renders strong style useless and empowers light lunging...kinda annoying if ya ask me
