Gunning to soften up-then finish with saber,

vice versa of that ^^^^^,

or just plain Gunning v Gunning.

I don't like sniping in Jk2 cause everyone has a larger range of motion than in something like, say, CS where it's relatively 2d.

Bleh there is nothing like saber vs saber but if ur in trouble there is no shame in picking up a blaster and spamming laser bolts are ur over-skilled opponent :P

Lol right on LadyGaladriel I use those quite a bit. Usually people don't even notice them. I love watching someone walk straight on into one heh. But personally any novice can use a gun. It takes at least a little skill to weild a saber correctly. So I choose saber vs. saber

I prefer to snipe. There is something wonderful in killing a flag carrier when he is mid jump.

Someone mentioned that any novice can use a gun and to them I say... Prove it in ladders or shut up because guns v guns require just as much skill as Saber v Saber when you get excellent players together

Also who ever is thinking that saber v gun is a skill worth having has flat out lost thier minds. Sabers in 1.04 will never defeat guns if you are playing against players that know what they are doing.

Even in Promod where you have a HUGE hit point advantage against gunners a saberist will get less points everytime.

yea i agree - even with newbies as long as they use anything but the pistol they can kill u with guns

Heheh, I should've put the saber vs. gun skill with JK++ mod on....
That makes me quite even, especially in open areas.....

Otherwise my skills are best in saber vs saber and sniping!

I should've put a option for Bryar Pistol aiming, gun's tough to work and to me, requires the most of skill. A guy named Lazarous can ACTUALLY USE IT. Good lord........(Usually on the Promod 2 server.....

heh, I'm a pure guns user, briar pistol is one of my favoite weapons

think of it as a powerful fling shot, if you practice charging up the shot and choose your timing wisely, it is a very very powerful weapon

For me...Well...I'm good at it all, guns, sabers, light, dark, jetpack, singal saber, dual saber, dualbladed saber, blue stance, yellow stance, red stance, orange/green stance, purple stance, FF, NF, promod ect.

I use pull or push to bring down the charge and attack...I also prefer saber vs saber.

I use guns (and non-saber weapons) because:

GUNS + FORCE IS UNIQUE AND FUN!

Do CS or Quake/2/3 or UT have that? Nope!

If I just want to have challenging NF duels, I'll go play Bushido Blade/2.

sniping for me.
but of course. i made a sniping clan. Lol...
i dont think there's much skill involved with the saber, it's just a bunch of people running around swing the saber hoping to hit the other guy before he hits you.
