They should've made it Xbox Live compatible. It would sell much better that way.

But I've got the PC version, so I really don't care.

You can still battle Mac users instead, I think

Bring them Mac users on!!! How many FPS's have they even had on the Mac?

On the XBox Live issue, LA really dropped the ball on that one. Granted, it's a subpurb single player game, but they would have sold many more copies then they probly will if they had made it compatible with XBox Live.

It would be unfair to allow xbox users to play against pc users becuase they would get completely and utterly waisted while we strafe around and slice em up.

console controls are primitive compared to mouse look/keyboard.

I'm not sure anybody suggested that console users and PC users should play together. If I was LA I would have invested the time and resources into making it "Live" compatible, but keep them septate from PC users

I believe they would be incompatible anyway.

Remember, patches, major adjustments in coding for porting.

It just wouldnt work X-Box to PC... we dont know what patch version the console games are. Probably unpatched.

Oh, no, I actually did not know that. I started on FPS's with Wolf 3D all the way up to Quake II, but I was burnt out and had to take a break so I skipped Quake III
