Episode II Poll

I just found this on www.theforce.net
Quote:
Teletext have been running a poll to find the best film of the past 10 years. Viewers were invited to send in their nominations and Episode2: Attack Of The Clones has made the top 5. Not bad for a modern SW film. It's now considered one of the best films in the past 10 years. It's nominated alongside FOTR, Gladiator, Harry Potter and The Shawshank Redemption.
As of when I voted, Attack of the Clones was winning this poll by a landslide with 71% of the votes (with Lord of the Rings in second place, with 17%).

Thats howd Id put it. Star Wars 1st, Lord of the Rings 2nd. Then I guess Id put in a group all the other epics like Terminator, Matrix, Harry Potter, Aliens, etc.

May the Force be with you...

sifnt Point Break No. 1 !!?!?!

Point Break si teh WINMAEN!!1

Fear can sometimes be a useful emotion. For instance, let's say you're and astronaut on the moon and you fear that your partner has been turned into Dracula. The next time he goes out for the moon pieces, wham!, you just slam the door behind him and blast off. He might call you on the radio and say he's not Dracula, but you just say, "Think again, bat man."
Try this on for size.

I'd rank at least The Matrix in there as well, and since it's 10 years...didn't Terminator 2 come out in 1992 ? That's a definite add as well then.

My best would be...AotC. For sheer amusement.

I prefer LOTR then i think AOTC would come in close second of the films mentioned.

Hmmm...

When you compare Star Wars with other kinds of movies, you know...It gets very complicated

I do really think that the Star Wars saga is the best. But personally, I think that Phantom Menace is better than Attack, but I know that I'm one of the very few that think that. But even talking bout Attack, this is very relative. Star wars is a very good saga, but for me, and for you guys...It's not that open thing. I mean, I love SW, but my sister hates it. To tell the truth, I guess that even having a great audience, SW doesn't have as many fans as it deserve to.
Considering that matters, I would vote for Gladiator.
The poll is "Best movie", not "Movie that I love" or "Movie that makes part of a huge and amazing saga that I'm fan of".

Promise me...

That you'll train the boy...

Like all polls, it depends on who votes. I imagine that younger audiences would have voted for ep2 over LotR because of all the action. I personally prefer LotR, but hey, I didn't vote.
