Mean ol' Model

My model won't lay on it's side.

How can I force it to lay on its side? It's quite belligerent.

If it's for a single player map I would suggest giving it a spawnscript that instructs it to rotate 90 degrees down.

If, however, it's for MP... you'll probably have to open up the .md3 file in milkshape and do the rotation in there... radiant only allows the rotation of misc_models about the "z" axis; for any other axis you need to do it in milkshape, then save the rotated model out as a new .md3 (which you place in /models/map_obejcts/your_map/).

Ya, I've already seen that too. That's why I initally put a "nevermind" post up, but that angles thing isn't working either, hence why I've continued posting.... how can I get my hands on a copy of milkshape?

For example by downloading it from c|net or tucows?

And I don't have an idea why that angles doesn't work for you, It works fine for me.

Well how are you using it? In GTK radiant I do this

Key: Angles
Value: 0 180 0

for the entity properties.

I think that a normal "standing up" model would have "angles" values of "0 0 0" -- so if you want it to lie down (perpendicular to "up"), wouldn't you want "0 90 0" instead?

Exactly. Or try a very different value than 90 or 180 like 20 just to see what happens and to find the proper angle(s) you need.
