The language barrier really isn't that much of a problem. The only thing that's really awesome is that Twi'Leks talk in leku also! So you can talk smack about someone and they won't know what you are saying!

So what appears over an alien character's head when you do not know what they are saying? Jarble in the dialogue boxes?

do wookies see the messages in shyyriwook (spelling?) and see the translated message or just the translated. I would like to see what shyyriwook looks like but I plan on being a wookie.

If someone speaks a language you don't know, it'll show up as jarble. When a wookie speaks Shyriiwook it'll show up as jarble (until you learn it), for example, "rarrrr wwwooook rarrrr" Chewie says in Shyriiwook. WHen you know it, it'll say, "Hey, I'm chewie," Chewie Says in Shyriiwook.
