** CUSTOM TITLES CHANGED - everyone read **

As you may be aware, some members have had their custom titles changed without their consent. Although this is being laughed off as a 'joke', it is not acceptable behaviour. Those who have been a party to this, consider yourself warned.

The Change Custom Title option under the Store was put there so that others with enough points could help out someone else who did not have enough points to change their custom title. It was not meant to occur without the other member's consent.

This practice is to be discontinued. As you may be aware, the points sytem will soon be removed. However, until that time, those users who have had their custom titles changed will be able to post in this thread, to have their custom titles restored.

Keep in mind that people who have less than 1000 posts will lose their custom titles when the points system is taken away, so it would be pointless for these users to have their custom title changed now - unless they find their current changed one to be offensive.

This only applies to those who have had custom titles changed without their consent. Please post below, with your titles as they were before, and they will be restored.

This sort of thing will not be allowed to happen again.

Thanks to Semicolon I had enough points to change mine back, and am willing to help you all too. I think Black Mamba had a few PM's to sort through today.......

Well, yesterday I had mine changed to something stupid... so I then changed it back to PBGuy1211 The White... then someone else thought it'd be funny to change it again today... and now i dont have the stupid points to change it again. so if someone would be so kind as to fix that for me it'd be greatly appreciated...

If members post in this thread, it will cost them nothing to have their custom titles restored.

A list of names, with the appropriate custom titles, will be given to an Admin, who will restore them free of charge.

Matt windu said that the image sic might be lost as well as the glowy name, but users will be able to add the [glow] tag to compensate. Luckily for me, I was able to change my Custom Title back

Changes to titles will probably not take place for a few hours...because I want to compile as long a list as possible to give to the Admins. So please be patient while waiting for your titles to be changed back.

I am trying to compile a list of all those whose titles have been changed, and have so far identified these by the DJG tag...

Hey, Storm. Mine was changed yesterday by a guy named Oof. He chqanged it to Suckage level = 46782. Then I changed it to Colonel Sanders. Then it was changed to DJC. So include me on your list

I got tagged about 5 or 6 times in the last day or so, and just kept dutifully putting it back,.. until I got fed up and put a long message in my sig saying how that if my title said anything different than "Are we having fun?" that it wasn't me who changed it, and that I wouldn't take responsiblity for what it said, and I listed who was doing it.
That seems to have stopped them. I was PM'ed by one of them to have a sense of humor.
Hmmm... I never suspected my sense of humor was in any doubt. In fact the whole thing made me laugh,.. I just wish they had come up with something more original or creative that matched my personality. If it was creative, original, or funny enough I just may have left it. But I sure don't wish to be just another DJG drone, or have something offensive there (like the first attempt.)

Granted, the offensive message was put there after I took some of my points last night to change one of thier titles for a change. I changed it to "Payback's a bitch." I was hoping to send a bit of a message. It didn't seemed to work...

Oh well,.. it's all jus' fun-n-games,.. right kids?

I'm confused. I definately remember that in the store it said you could change anyone's custom title with a wink smiley. I understand about people changing things to offensive things. But I'm pretty sure that in the store it actually encouraged people to change other's titles.

I changed a few - I even started a game of it. So I'm just confused because now I feel really bad about doing it when I was just meaning to have fun.

Its ok, STTCT, you dont have to feel bad. SInce you probably didnt start a rucuss like the DJG people did. You only want to have fun. So its not your fault its the people who put annoying garbage in you title to get a few laughs

Actually i only had 2 PM's everyone else seemed to have taken it lightly.
