*Greer went to answer the door*

*The droid flits off, resembling nothing so much as a confused moth*

Sellena: Mmmm, *Nods.* yes, that would be nice, Correlian Brandy?

Greer: You know me, always a bottle of brandy nearby.
*He went to get the bottle and two glasses*
Greer: So, did Flax send you?

[BattleDog]

Sellena: Taklin has other things on his mind, he deals with the sword, I use the dagger.

*She takes the Brandy.*

I need a team to go back to Coruscant. Someone needs to sound out the Senate, if we can get the other Senators to stand up to ---------- We can end this without a war.

I'm putting my team together, I want you to lead it.

*She sips the Brandy.*

Corrrelian Senator: Mr Presidant, I see not reason for this body to grant emergancy powers to you.

Redis: During the Clone Wars this body reacted too slowly. I will return power to the peoples of the galaxy as soon as these renegades have been brought to justice.

*A Squad of A4 X-Wings drops out of hyperspace at the edge of the Correlian Trade Spine.

A Convoy of six frieghters hangs in space, escorted by two flights of A-Wings.

Gold Leader: Attention Convoy, power down, heave to and preare to be boarded.

Hal: Here she is Deac, the Moon Hawk. Two foward laser cannons, two foward ions and two quad turrets. Sixteen Concussion Missiles and ten torpedos. She cruises at 85MGLT, can pull a 70 degree turn and has 300SBD shields.

*The ship is a black and navy blue craft, clean and well maintained.

Greer: So, you want me to lead a team, straight into the lion's den, burst into the senate room, and give a five minute speech on what ---------- has done. How many others are on the team?

[Deac]

Deac: I need to get going right away. Farewell, and thankyou.

*Boards ship and launches*

*As Deac's ship heads towards its destination, a recorded message is received on his comlink*

"Back. Problems. Contact me if you have the time."

Sellena: No James, I want you to sneek in, meet your contact and see if its possible that there are Senaters that don't like the new regime.

I want you to take O'Connel, Dasken and a woman you haven't met yet, Nilella Oscanap, she's deep black ops. The rest of the team you can pick yourself.

Hal: Ok Deac, we're clear. Inputting co-ordinates now, whenever your ready.

Greer: I need a favor that can help out this mission. I have been contacted by the NRI's resident network administrator. I want to extract her. She can control every single electronic in any goverment building in Corusant, as well as most civilian ones. She's offering help if we extract her, so I want to go there, contact her, get her to turn off the camera's in whenever I'm meeting the contact, then come back with her.

[Deac]

*Deac notices the message and sends a reply*

Deac: Rwos, it turns out the family got bigger. I'm heading off to find out more. [Can't remember the planet in question]

Malice: Tell me Irvine, when do you plan to attack the Aesir?

Lokpihet: Good point. When does that come into all my schemes?

*F. Irvine stands up with a smug look on his face.*

F. Irvine "Well before I say the 'How and Why', I have to say that I did come up with a few problems in dealing with the Aesir."

"First, and fore most: Due to some sort of superior technology, detection of their craft and any world that they occupy, considering if thats what they do is almost impossible, even on most telepathic wavelinks. "

"One can't just open the universe up to oneself and make an endless search for something that he isn't sure what to find."

"Secondly: Their technology is almost unknown to our own, would only mean that either such attack on a world would not only be suicide but they'd see it coming. I wouldn't doubt that even their own intergalatic transportation is also by far superior."

"How ever I do know a few things, their race is practically from what I understand is that regaurdless of their inability to die, if not eons from now, they can be killed just as easy as any. They're manly a warroir race, thinking their 'role' is that they are some sort of protectors of the galaxy. Their leader Odin, which I even had an opertunity to even meet in person, is quite arogant in a sense that I personaly think that they don't trust anyone but their own species."

"In any sense I know what to look for with my own telepathic ability if only developed more."

Hal: Deac, I've plotted the jump. We can go to Tallacos whenever you're ready.

Greer: She's saved my life before, and she joined the NRI because she wanted to do the right thing, so yes, I do trust her.

[Deac]

Deac: Punch it!

*The ship goes to lightspeed*

F. Irvine "Yes, but like I said with their technology it won't be easy, any sort of attack by conventional means would be detected as soon as we made the plan to do it. Thats why I asked for the security."

"In any case, it were to be ssomething we'd have to obtain a way of either getting their undetected or, find a way of actually getting their with out them being able to do something about it. I believe the best course would be to create plenty of my own versions of Cracken's 'speciality missles' and equip them with such technology that all we need to do is obtain, or develop our selves, and do it in a way so that the blame will fall on the Sith Lord!"

[Deac]

Lokpihet: Genius. Pure, evil genius. Are you sure you're not another of my long lost siblings?

Malice: Talking of which, I wonder what happened to Reletha?

[BattleDog]

Hal: Okay, Navcomp says we should be there in 12 hours.

Sellena: Fine, you can extract her. I'm going to give you 12 hours to put you team together. High Command wants this done very fast.

Asgard: Valhalla

*The procession marches through the streets of Valhalla finally coming to Odin's place. In front of the large plaza they soldiers spread out. The Valkyries and Einherjar are in the center.

Odin and his family are seated on a raised platform, a podium with the last line of marchers arriving Odin Stands and walks to the podium*

Odin: Once again it is time for the Tournament season. A time for friendly combat among comrades. All are familar with the various rewards. For the best, they will be admitted into the Einherjar.

I bid each of you try your best, but above all take delight in the combat whether you win or lose. Take pride in what you have accomplished, in the success of your friends and comrades. Further let any grudges held on the field of combat be forgiven at the feasts.

In passed tournaments it was tradtion to unviel one new weapon or invention. For this tournament we shall unviel a new item everyday of the tournament.

Good luck to you all, Let the Tournament begin.

*With that the large resounding drums began to beat and the fighters bowed to Odin and begans to disperse. The first of what would be many competitions would begin in a few hours. Many look forward to the unviels that would occur at the conclusion of everyday of the Tournament*

F. Irvine "Well, maybe at least I might be invited in,... After I furtherly describe in much, much more detail how we're going to get it done. For one a ship-to-ship battle is inevitable, that'll be one that'll be also be needed to be able to combat agenst..." *smiles* "...which I've thought of a nice idea to get around."

*F Irvine stands and prades around the bridge menacingly, with a sadistic grin on his face, spins and faces Lokpihet.*

F Irvine *over joyed at the ideas comign into his mind* "There's another war coming, Lokpihet! With the new technological advances that we're going to implement in this new war, which ever the out come, the destruction could be nothing short of Ragnarok itself!"

*F. Irvine stops in his tracks, with a puzzled look on his face.*

"Ragnarok... Where have I learned that term." *His expression changes to a sort of relising one* "Yess, its an Aesir term! The end of exsistence. Well, maybe the destruction wouldn't be as much as that,..." *smiles at Lokpihet* "If it was, what'll be left to rule... Hahahaha!"

Lokpihet: What indeed. I'm going now to try and "persuade" my dear cousin to my way of thinking. Inform me when we reach the target.

Fused Ivrine and Lokpihet continue to plot to destroy the Aesir and rule the galaxy.

At the same time Jim Greer prepares to lead a team back to the Capitol Planet in a bid to prevent all out war, while Taklin Flax remains isolated in his castle.

Against this backdrop of galactic upheaval Deac Starkiller has a very personal mission. He travels to Tellacos with Halren Flax and Kal, Hal's brother and Deac's Padawan, to find his daughter.
