Hyperspace Pass
Do any of you have this? I was considering getting it, but did not know if it would be worth it. Let me know your thoughts! Thanks!

i haven't, but the only 'exclusive' i've heard about is the pic of anakin.. which i've seen anyway.
so why paid for it when anything that gets on there will soon be leaked out anyway?

Yes its worth it. $20 a year for full set diaries, live web cam on the sets, video documentaries which will come in the next month or so, so basically its all the making of Ep3 while its happening! And theres a few more things too like a SW email address and the unfinished droid control ship scene from ep2.
May the Force be with you...

the web docs will all be on the dvd, and the unfinished scene will be whomever running around on set with a stick that looks like it could eventually be a lightsaber. unfinished means no effects and no droids, thus making the scene not much worth seeing.

The webcam is pretty cool - but really the access that you get is not that fullfilling. I spend about maybe tops 3 min there and then I'm done. I've read all I can read and I can't see much on the web cam. I guess I was expecting more. But I forgot to cancel after 5 days like a ding-dong. So I'm stuck another month.

Here's my question: After Episode III finishes shooting, and after it's released with all the extras, what is Hyperspace membership for? There won't be any set webcam or set diaries....

Pic of Anakin? Post a URL to it. I dno't have the hyperspace pass. I just can't justify giving George Lucas more money "just for the hell of it." I agree with you whole heartedly.

Honestly the idea of the "jump to hyperspace" pisses me off. Haven't we all given George Lucas enough money? If I had a hyperspace login I'd post the username and password into every forum and newsgroup so that it would be free to the deserving.
As it is I am a cheapskate and wouldn't waste the $20. LOL!!!!!

I wouldn't waste money on impatience. E3 will be out soon enough. Besides, most of the things in the Hyperspace Pass can be found in other places ... I think. But also, for those very hardcore-die hard SW fans out there, the HP may be just for them. I also think that there are some things that you could probably see in the HP that won't be in the movie, and also there will be some things you will see in the movie, that won't be on the HP. So more or less, go for it if you really want to. The choice is yours of course, but I personally am waiting for the movie to come out. I do, however, enjoy taking a few peeks at the "spoiler" posts, seeing as how most of it is just speculation anyway. I remember seeing one of the trailers for E2, and almost dying from the sheer coolness of it, hearing Vader slowly breathing through his mask, showing Obi locked up with Dooku, and all the other fun stuff. An E3 trailer would probably give me a heart attack lol.

But it seems like an increasing amount of content on SW.com is becoming hyperspace exclusive, at this rate I can imagine the databanks becoming hyperspace member exclusive >.> All that for $20 a year, Lucas you cold hearted money hound. lol
