1st you must go here: http://www.geocities.com/kengomaps/tutorials.html

Do that tutorial a lot, make sure you really, really understand it. Good camera angels is extremly important.
I guess you have all the tools you need.

Think you could post questions, cause i dont know where to start

I love this question.

Search the forum for BehavEd Tutorials, I asked for it a long time ago.

My projects:
Snow Speeder
Kaadu

Okay, here's my problem:

I make an NPC_Kyle in the map and spawn him as a cinematic. I give him the NPC_targetname cinematic1_kyle and go to BehavEd. I then proceed to do, in order, to affect cinematic1_kyle and to give him animation and waypoint instructions. When I run the game, he just stands there. However, if I have the script under spawnscript in his parameters, BATTABLAM!! He does what he's told. But if it's just a usescript from a target_scriptrunner, he stands there. What's the deal with this?

Heke 7's tutorial here is also handy for affecting NPCs

http://jk2review.ravencommunity.net/...rial_view&id=5

Seems like NPC scripting has these 'things', these laws which are completely unclear, and one of them is that sometimes trying to affect them doesn't seem to work for some reason. I think some editors say you should use spawnscripts as much as possible for affecting NPCs, it keeps things simpler apparently.

Actually, I can make them move to navgoals through spawnscripting. I can also make them do funny little gestures and stuffies. (During the game with the camera deactivated)

I'm talking about cinematic scripting (camera activated). Whenever I start a script via a target_scriptrunner, they just sit there while the camera roams about the ref_tags I tell it to go to. But if I try to do the cinematic scripting through an NPC's spawnscript, the game gets stuck.
