HELP!!! Wrecked new laptop screen...
I cleaned my new laptop screen with something I shouldnt have...I didnt read the bit where it said NOT for use on laptops. I've tried cleaning the screen with another cleaner (which is safe with laptops), but all it does is move the previous cleaner around on the screen. It doesnt actually take it off....HELP!!!.
The force will betray you to me.

You'd have to do some chemistry with the original substance to try and get it into a gas.

My advice - buy another laptop.
I'm sorry, but there is very little you can actually do. Chemicals are not to be trifled with, and you should always read the lable.
Does this evil chemcial have a name? And what did you try removing it with?

I feel bad for you. But by any chance... did it say "NOT FOR LAPTOPS" in big, bold, black letters? 
I'd go somewhere else. I'm sure theres a website out there about this......

always clean chemicals with a base----oh sorry, that won't work....hm.....maybe.....i got nothin. sorry. Is the screen like tarnished or something now? or does the stuff not come off?

Yeah, new screens aren't cheap. My friends sis Laptop screen broke, and she ended up just selling it and getting a new one. Ended up being cheaper than fixing it.
