Gold at Corellia---walkthrough

I just got gold on Corellia, and here's my personal strategy.

You'll be hard-pressed to make time on this mission. So don't waste any. And if you die, you might as well start over. And I'm assuming you have advanced blasters and advanced shields. The blasters are almost necessary for gold. Shields shouldn't be a problem but it's nice to be safe.

A: When beginning, immediately fly to the left of where you start, constantly on thrust. In a few seconds you'll see the orange wedge. Follow it to the probes. Vape them all as fast as possible. If you get them all before your friends get there, then you're doing good. Then just wait the few seconds for the cutscene.
B: After the cutscene, just press thrust as the game will point you in the right direction anyway. Get all the TIE bombers as fast as you can. If you need to chase any of them for more than fifteen seconds before downing them, you need to work on your skills. Remember: Your left/right brakes are VITAL to getting the TIEs fast enough for the gold! They help turning very well for the speeder. Once you've downed them, you'll get another cutscene.
C: Now you have to protect the Tech Center. Shouldn't take more then a minute to get the four TIE bombers. Remember your brakes for turning. Vape them and wait for the cutscene.
D: Oh no! An Imperial walker! Race in the indicated direction, take ten or fifteen seconds to vape the two TIE bombers you'll see and Han and Chewie will begin the evacuation. Then head for the walker. Bring yourself high and pelt him with blaster fire---necessary to get required accuracy. The head beyond him, turn and hogtie him.
E: Don't waste time on the downed walker. Remember, you have harsh time constraints. Instead, head in the direction indicated. Once you get to the Tech Center, hit the brakes and vape the two AT-STs. Your friends wil take out each and every stormie, believe it or not. Turn and blast the walker, but this time go for its legs directly instead of making another pass like you did the other one. Tie it up.
F:Now you have six TIEs in two waves to deal with. Past the AT-AT, fly at normal speed towards the cliffs above the Tech Center to intercept the first wave. (Thrust will make you get there ahead of them wasting time for turning.) Vape at least one as they come toward you. Then take out the other two from behind. They'll be acting differently from the bombers, but you should adapt fast enough by now. You should have downed all three by the time you intercept the shuttle. Thrust past the shuttle and vape the other three TIEs.
G: Now you head over the Tech Center and to the city where the bonus is. Vape the three docked boats and two to four stormies. Try to get al of them but the two by the bonus. Facing the harbor, turn and thrust over the city. Brake and turn, hug the ground and head for the gap in the buildings (slightly to the right). Head in, turn left and the bonus will be right there in front of you. Fly through it and immediately lift up. Fly to the right to avoid becoming a splotch on one of the buldings. (Although if you do at this point, you might still make gold.) Now fly out to sea and vape the three remaining boats. Then the shuttle will say its thanks and you'll have finished.

I used Brother Reed's walkthrough at gamefaqs.com for the Imperial Construction Yards to get the gold there and I really couldn't think of any ways to improve it so just use that

that's what i use too

I generally get the bonus enroute to the first walker -- now that I've got the hang of the correct approach. I also ignore the speed boats unless they are in my path -- for time concerns.

The first time I got the Gold at Correlia I did it in a Matter of seconds and without killing a single imperial soldier...I used Rogue Edit , therafter I beat it the correct way but that AT-AT was ticking me off and I couldn't figure out how to take it down until it occured to me to ask here

and I used no Walkthroughs my first time beating the Game. they are just as much a cheat as IMADOLLY is.

Did you beat it with all golds? If not, then I also "beat" RS for the first time without cheating

Ya, also beat the level without use of cheats, but I didn't think it was that hard. I also was without a walkthrough.

it is easier to vape stormtroopers than the boats. more kills, better accuracy.
