Check your settings, Alt should work...and make sure you wait till Luke says "Activate harpoon." That's your cue to press Alt.

Has anyone noticed that when you select the airspeeder in the hanger, it flys into space

Yes, we've all noticed. If you have the N64 version look at the pictures and there should be one of an air speeder in Corellia. You'll be able to see that it has 99 concussion missiles.

I can fire the tow cable but it seems just as it attaches & the camera switches views the thing detaches &i have to start the whole procedure again...so my question is, once you get the cable attached, what do you do to bring down that damn AT-AT?

You have to circle the AT-AT. Get too far away from its legs and your cable will detach. You must circle the walker three times.
BTW welcome to these forums Rogue82382.

Thanks for the welcome...& i've watched ESB more times than I count, but it looks so easy when Wedge & co. bring it down....
My main problem with the AT-AT is that the second I get my tow cable to attach, it seperates from the leg...before I get a chance to do anything with it. I think its the fact that the camera view switches all of a sudden, it disorients me...
Which leg do you reccommed attaching the tow cable to? & After attaching, which move do you make?

Makes no difference which leg. And when you attach it, you must turn to circle the walker immediately.

Yeah, and use the accelerate and sharp turn (a and d) to help you get around faster.

Or just buy yourself one of the replica X-Wing helmets, make a cardboard cutout of the inside of an speeders cockpit, have a friend sit in another chair behind you facing the other and play the game. I garantee ya that it'll work! Just remember to be in character!

I've got the PC and it is much better, and easier, to play. You've never played it until you've played it with a joystick, a real joystick.

Emphasis there on a real joystick...not the piece of cr@p I got so I could play XWA...can't get a good joystick? Stick with the keyboard, like I do.

No Way! How can you play any flight sim type game with a keyboard. Even a really bad one would be better than the keyboard, IMO.
