Yes, ahem. There has never been a player model of this character EVER! In all games I have seen no one ever attempts to create this characer. Will tradition be broken?

its probably because no modeler wants to make a fat, ugly character from the sonic series

yeah but i mean, cmon its Jabba from Star Wars, robotnik isnt even from star wars so that proves to be a difference in the mind of a modeler...
who knows, maybe some sonic fan will make one someday...

Me, as well, although I do think Sonic 2 was a little bit better than the original. However, nothing beats a classic like Sonic 1! 
I don't know anything about modelling, but I would like to see an Ivo, Shadow, or Knuckles model being made or imported into JA and JO.

Ah Saga Genisis and Dr Robotnik, ancient history and great times. That would be a good model in JO/JA. Someone out there needs to make this...do it for the Sonic Fans!!
