stuck - bespin undercity

Help. I'm trying to "work" my way up after Lando drops me off. I haven't gotten too far. I've entered the city, killed some guys, use my Jedi Mind Trick to get a fellow behind some glass to open the door (with flames shooting out from the walls). I ride the elevator up, and die walking along the walls in a round room.
The "floor" kills me?

How do I get by this?

The floor doesn't kill you. You must be standing on the "red" web that appears and disappears after sometime.

I use a combination of Force Speed and Bowcaster and the disrupter rifle to get past this part.
