LAN Problems

For the longest time, my son and I were able to play head to head on our LAN (linksys router). All of a sudden, his computer will hang up at the LAN screen with the message "Looking for Games". The only way to get out of this is to re-boot the machine.

Any ideas?

You dont mention if you are playing the original game, or Clone Campaigns or SW Battlegrounds SAGA.

If you do not have saga, make sure that you download the 1.1 patch and make sure that both PCs have the latest graphics drivers.

Failing that, it sounds silly but make sure that cables are all connected correctly. Also make sure that you are looking at the right LAN address to play

You could also give a try temporarily turning off any firewall/antivirus software, that might help.
