The imaginative 'What has Roy been doing while away from Lucasforums?' thread!!!
I've been spending less time on Lucasforums recently, while starting up my own business.....
...the question is:-
What business has Roy been starting up?

Children's dating service. To be taken advantage of by the elderly and lonely.
No idea.

Well, the other day, I was at the gas station. I heard a whisper from around the corner, and (wishing Alia were there with her katana) peered around and looked at the dumpsters. There, I saw Roy, accepting a pair of green nylon pantees from a small street urchin.
You can imagine my suprise when several other small scruffy children pushed by me, all hurrying up to Roy and holding out whatever pantees they had gathered and accepting a measly bit of pay in return.
I decided that I needed a more inconspicuous place to observe this notorious pantee thief. When his back was turned, I leapt into the dumpster to watch. Unfortunatly I landed on what I though was another homeless child.
Well, this "homeless child" was a full grown man. I could not belive my eyes when the light adjusted. Elvis! What was he doing here? Elvis had apparently been walking along a road when he was the vitim of a drive by pantee theft. His favorite silver studded pantees had been ripped off of him, and he was tryin gto track them down. Then I noticed the dreadful truth. While I had been observing Roy's "buisness" my pantees had been taken. So I decided to join forces with The King.
After this alliance had been formed, we ventured to peek out of the dumpster. Luckily, Roy was still there, packing his day's load of pantees into a black leather suitcase. He put it in the back of his lime green El Camino, and turned around. We had been spotted! While Elvis jumped on Roy, I quickly stole a black leather suitcase out of the El Camino. Unfortunatly, when we later looked inside of it, it was the wrong suitcase. I was distraught. Why did I have to have my pantees stolen, and then all I got in return from the theif was a bag full of bagel crumbs?
If anyone has seen Roy since this incident, please let me know. He was last sighted at 12:05 am December 2nd, 2003.

Why thank you!
I, too, see the similarity. Worth mentioning? Of course not.
Long-time Lucas Arts adventure fan, but obviously only a recent member of the forums. Why? I guess I'm just stupid.

ernil- about that first post title...
well, here's an interesting story. maybe it can add a little more spice to this conversation. not that it's not already a jalapeno pepper...i'm just taking it up a notch to habanero
well, you know those dumb dating services that are always calling and saying "are you single? blah blah blah blah blah....". so my neighbor was just doing whatever and the phone rings.
he picks it up and the lady says "hello, would you like to try our dating service?"
"yeah."
"okay. you are 18 or older, correct?"
"yes." *this is a lie*
"exactly how old are you?"
"18."
"okay. and what age are you looking for?"
"60 and over."
"i'm sorry?"
"60 and over."
"ok...and what is your sexual preference?"
"actually, i'd prefer to have two lesbians sent to my house, but anything is fine with me."
and then the lady hung up. interesting, no?
anyway...so let me take a stab at roy's business...
he didn't make a business.

$200 to join, I'd say, with $150 per month for a subscription. A body like this is well worth the money.

Ernil, your website isn't working. You have dissapointed me so...
Or perhaps Roy turned into a dog for two months and was unable to use the computer untill a kiss from a princess turned him back into a sad strange man...
EDIT: you think nuns just meetin' 'em on the street and at church is bad, try having one as a TEACHER....*shudder*
EDITEDIT: Okay, that was just mean. A small percentage aren't so bad, but...be careful

...okay, okay.......I've set myself up in business selling my own paintings. I don't rate them, but they're shifting quicker than the laydees when Ray's on one of his pantee collecting events......and hey, it's better than doing real work. Fingers crossed I can do it full time without having to take a part time job or anything. I've been given a grant from the Princes Trust, so I should be okay for a few months, should the sales dry up.
...don't ask for links to the pictures yet.....I'm too fragile for criticism at the moment....I'm my own worst critic anyway!!!
