more pop culture! i'm just alive with energy today.

well i also have seen beyonce's new video and heard the whole song...and as most of us (i think) probably know, beyonce has had two other solo tracks released for t.v. and radio..."crazy in love" (featuring jay-z) and "baby boy" (featuring sean paul). the new song "me, myself, and i" doesn't feature anyone.

so here's another question, maybe not as obvious (i don't know), and the question is- which video and song do you like best?

okay. well, i'm still waiting for a response from someone who likes this kind of music and has a favorite one for each category. you can see what my vote is, if you look at the results, or at least until someone else replies.

did you know that beyonce actually hates the word bootylicious even though she was the one who made it up? she said that she made it for that one song and it wasn't even serious and then everyone started using it and people put it on clothes and then it got put it in the dictionary and she doens't even like the word. that's a little fun fact.

oh yeah, that reminds me- i think that michael jackson has a new christmas cd coming out or something, and r.kelly produced and co-wrote one of the songs on there. that's a nice little two-for-one deal there on rapists/child molesters.

anyway....back to beyonce...her new video actually isn't so bad and i'm liking the song better too. i've had that song stuck in my head nearly all day, except now i have a jessica simpson song stuck in my head. although my vote is still for baby boy for the song and video. although this one is coming close to knocking it out of that top spot...

you know what's weird? is how once one song comes out and then you think it's their best song yet, and then another one comes out and you think it's even better and so on...but i wonder if they purposely release songs so that they keep getting better and better or it's just some psychological thing? and if they do make it so they keep getting better and better, then what happens when they get really good? is it possible for them to get any better? or does the excellence scale just start over again?

Das, your musical taste is just so poor it's unreal.......I think the advice I gave to Ray nearly six months ago applies here:-

"I'd suggest you fill a rubber glove with water, tie it to a large spring, fix that spring to the wall, get someone to pull the spring back as far as it will go, and position yourself just in front of the path of the glove....."

if you call her untalented i'll just look at you funny and shrug and say "alright" but think to myself that your opinion doesn't matter anymore because it's richly dumb.

Have you a problem with your sight, she is not gorgeous, I think she looks cheap and nasty someone who has been well used but if that is what you like in a women then thats up to you, its your life. Now look at me I am what you call gorgeous.

i do have to say...that i agree when you guys say my musical taste is awful. however...i don't really find most other music bearable, i can tell you the ones that i would never listen to right from the start:

classical
country
rock
easy listening
jazz

i can't bear to listen to any of those without either wanting to fall asleep or my head about to explode. i can't tell you what kind of music i would love to listen to all the time, because i don't have one. i only know what i don't like and i try to avoid those. i'm not one of those people that would refuse a suggestion and come up with a better one, i'd just refuse it and expect someone else to come up with a better one.

so....i was going to say something else but i forgot. maybe it'll come back and then i'll post it. maybe not. chances are it won't but that's ok.

Not to be mean Burger, I don't think the two of you would make a very picturesque couple.

Despite her digustingness of publicity, she is one a few who can actually sing nicely. And very high. I shall not badmouth her.

okay, i agree that rock is a pretty massive category and some rock songs are ok...however i am able to say that i dislike any form of classical music or jazz music.

well....merry christmas everyone...today has been a good day so far, as i'm sure it probably has been for most people. it's been going by way too fast though. anyway...i got beyonce's cd...and now me, myself, and i has beaten out baby boy for the song, but i still say baby boy is the best video. in fact...i can't stop listening to me myself, and i...i'm listening to it right now and i have been for the past hour or so. *shrug*

so anyway...i don't know what else to say.
