New Years Resolutions

What kind of resolutions do people here have? I for some reason have never been able to pull off and complete my resolutions.

Well, I want to be able to bench press at least 100 lbs.

I'm working on it though. I can do 25 consecutive pushups. I'm hoping to do 100 consecutive before the end of the year. I'll be able to pull it off, if I lift weights everyday. We have a weight room in my school. All brand new equipment. Its really awesome. We have a circuit, 30 seconds at each station. And because of that, I can lift a little bit now. And I am now able to do 25x more pushups than I could at the beginning of the year.

My resolution is to add some "meat" to this skin and bone of mine.

Also, to be even more outspoken than I already am...

...and maybe even get a girl friend (notice the space, that means not a girlfriend, girl friend :P).

Lose 20 lbs, get a nice, high salary job, clean up my room, try to cut back on buying 3 DVDs a month... The usual stuff.

No...it's like saying "I promise not to make promises". Now do you get it? It's not that hard to understand, really.

My resolution is to not be a pendatic little wretch who intentionally tries to piss other people off, and stir up trouble.

Well, excuse me Sir, but you seem to have conveniently neglected the fact that you are in fact the poor individual who needs a little “lightening up”. Your attitude stinks like a rotting Trout, and if you really feel the need to insult, and patronise those who you deem “below you”, this is not the place for it. For many a thread I have seen you snap sharply, and unfairly, at other members of these message boards. Perhaps you should consider your own attitude around here, before opening your mouth and criticising other people. If you, for once, stopped to take a look around, you would realise there are a few thousand members, besides you, on these boards. Showing a bit of respect for them wouldn’t do any harm – as opposed to making cheap and pathetic jokes, that go out of their way to insult them.

Now, go back to your high horse, jump off it and try flying like a bird. Perhaps you’ll see the “bigger picture” whilst you’re up there, and contemplate the fact that maybe you are in the wrong… I’m probably just dreaming though, because that will most likely never happen…

I dunno, but the real question is: who's listening to him? I sure ain't... Ah he probably isn't even serious, but if he is... Wow then he sure must be a mental patient in desperate need of self reflection...

Huh? Oh, I'm sorry. I must've dozed off. Really, I tried to read your essay/novel but I kept getting drowsey 1/3 of the way through it. But anyways, as a token of good will, I got you this:

I thought it might go good with your whine.
