I have a feeling this is gonna be a mistake..... I never liked the original, but usually sequels aren't as good.

I never BEAT the first one......I suck at it

I am on the last level, the part where you go down the elevator and then there are 74 million guys wearing body armor and helmets shooting at you. And I died like, 52 times trying to beat that part, and I got mad and gave up. That was like, 8 months ago.

I've known about this game since June and I am really looking forward to it. I loved the first one and it was just such an awesome game. I dont think they could even mess up with this one cause its just one of those games that didn't dissapoint me and was just good. I really don't care much for the MP aspect of it but just cause I get to be Sam Fisher again is enough to make me want to get this game.

Same here... Well I don't SUCK at it, but the last level (with the elevator) is really really hard I managed t o get to the part where you capture Nicoladze, but after that I get killed every time

Looking forward to part 2 though, Splinter Cell is in my top 3 of best singleplayer games ever

I've seen this, and it looks great. But I've got my doubts about it because I didn't like the first one too much. I only ever got up to the power plant level (on PS2). It just didn't have the fun or originality that was MGS2.

But SC2 looks like it might be better than MGS. I hope.

I had the first game(and beat it ), but I used cheats on the last level with all the heavy-military guys. Cant wait until the game comes to norway.

I tried
so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter

Naw, cheats spoil the game! You really should try it without cheats. The key to getting past areas is to learn the guards paths, then actually follow them arun wherever you need to go. It sound stupid, but trust me, it works.

Really? You actually got stuck? Hehe, this is... well funny to me. Where are you exactly oin that level? BTW, the ending movie is really good, and it leats you know that there was/had to be a second one

And what was wrong with the first one? I didn't know of anything wrong, except that they didn't let you mod it And maybe SC just isn't you type of game..

Whoa...you're parents must be so restrictive. My parents gave up restricting me on games years ago.

Whats so wrong about it being in first person? Is it beacuse it looks like you're shooting the people yourself?

Yes, that is the reason, but in Pandora, being in 1st persone is optional! But as soon as he saw that there was a first person aspect to it, bam, no can get!

Maybe I'll convince hime in the next 3 months... it really sucks that it comes out 2 days before my birthday!

But you could to aim/shoot in 1st person in the original Splinter Cell. So why is this one any different?

Ya Sam is right Excelsion. Check out the new trailer. Near the end, there's a player shooting in 1st person. Seems to be the enemy of the splinter cells in multiplayer

Yes, that is the Merc multiplayer mode, as far as I know, the Mercs hunt the 'Sam Fishers' on the level, while the Sams try to complete objectives. But that still is the only time in 1st person

Edit: Am I mistaken, or does the last shot at the end with Sam sound like a disrupter shot?!

I'm gonna add this to my 'to buy' list. Dammit all the good games are coming out after my birthday so I'll have to buy them with my own money.

It's funny how your parents don't let you have 1st person shooters. You're gonna miss out on Half-Life 2...

ROFLMAO, you can't get it because it's in first person? That's quite sad. I think you should have a talk with your parents.

The whole reasone I wanted to get it was that I could play with you guys on the net! It'd be so cool...

Dude, that really sucks.
I know your pain. My parents won't let me play anything with a "Violence" rating. Even if there is no blood, just violence is enought apperently.

I get to play Rated M games. The only part where my dad draws the line is when theres sex/sexuality involved. And I can understand him stopping the line there. I mean, I wouldnt get a game thats about sex anyways...waste of time if you ask me.
