Secret messages in SW Trilogy Arcade?

I went to Nathon's in New York sunday and after my family and I ate we went to the arcades as usual. I went to my usual cop shootin/dodging game (forgot the name) My brother went to the SW Trilogy Arcade. So after we had our time there my brother was still playing the Arcade. When he finished he told me that there was some kind of secret message. I was like "What!?" He responds "In one of the tie fighters exsplosions at the Endor fight, If you look really hard (Best to do this with the last tie) you can see the word... Insert more coins..." Now I gotta check this out later, yet could we be getting the same messages in other arcades.....? *eriee music plays*

I never seen any message, isnt that an old game? So there might be something wrong with the game or screen.

yeah, more than likely the 'insert more coins' screen has been burnt into the monitor. thats why they invented screen savers, although nowadays screensavers are just for fun as newer monitor don't have that problem.

That game is cool....there is one ata nearby arcade, I have a play quite often....it is quite reminiscent of "Rebel Strike' on the GC on some levels....

I doubt theres any hidden messages, most likely SIVs explanation is true....

BUT did I mention that if you put the Gamecube's "Rebel Strike" into a normal CD player, it plays 3po saying GEORGE LUCAS IS SATAN backwards..... yeah, really....

I think they burnt the message into the screen on purpose.

Vader's wife was very pregnant when she died 19 years ago. All of a sudden a 19 year old who is very strong in the force and has a distinct resembalance to him in his younger days rolls in from Vader's home planet with his old Master Obi-Wan (Who was the ONLY other person preset at the time his wife died. And to boot, the kid's last name is Skywalker.

So in answer to your question, he knew Luke was his son because his name is Darth Vader, and not Darth Retard.

Anyone wearing a tinfoil hat, I politely request you stick your head in a microwave and set it to high.

Yes indeed, Mr H Goblin does seem to have a very fertile imagination, but i think that's not that bad a thing......

It isnt burned in the screen because Monitors and screens have newer special technology that prevents screen burn. If it is it must be an older game unless you are talking about the one that came out a few years back. I deal with computers and monitors and our schools CPU's are constantly kept on with no screensaver and I've never seen screen burn but I could be wrong seeing how I don't know much about arcade systems.

It was probably burn-in. I've seen it on some arcade games even to 2001 I believe. I've seen the title screen and insert coins message burned in.

I believe you're talking about the super deluxe version. There are two versions of the arcade machine, the deluxe one and the regular one (even though the deluxe was seen more! ).

The deluxe one has the seat and the projection screen (worst victim of burn-in). The regular one (for arcades who have no room or are cheap ) has a CRT (I think, I dunno about arcade machines on that). Burn-in now only occurs on projection screens.

This is the deluxe one. (Burn-in prone projection)

This is the regular one, I believe it uses CRT...

Its an old game, so the monitor might be old too, thats why the message might be burnt on the screen.

Same for the arcade i go to, the screen is damaged, and also there is a inssert coins message burnt. And its the same game (the deluxe one)
