But he's fun to draw.

I believe life is under rated, most people hate life but if you really put deep thought into it, life is a grand luxury.

as for the matrix, You all probably think it's over rated just because it's popular, but theres a reason for it to be popular, it is a very good movie when it really comes down to it, and theres no reason you should despise it.

thank you for lisening to my philosopies, have a good day.

Over rated doesn't neccesarily mean you hate it - it just means ..

"Good lord, was it really that good?"

XBox is over rated.

NGC is WAY over rated.

Geedubyah is over rated...and an idiot.

Legend of Zelda = over rated.

Harry Potter is over rated...or maybe I'm not 5. Whatever.

George Lucas is over rated. Peter Jackson has him beat as of late.

The word n00b, or newbie, or noobie, or however you spell it is over used, retarted, idiotic, and most importantly, over rated.

I attempted to read "The Hobbit" but it was boring as hell and way way too descriptive.

I'm just sick of all the hype I guess - I understand it was awesome - but was it really "that awesome".

I think that dvd players in your car is overated. we have one - I tried playing playstation while my husband drove home from Tahoe on our honeymoon - I kept dying because of the damn lane changes and it was too hard to do while the car was in motion.

Fashion/good looks - the way appearance is preferred over everything else nowadays, I mean...gets on my nerves...

Soaps - I'm the only one in my friendship group who doesn't watch 'em...and my friends think I'm sad...

Harry Potter - instantly became a phenomenon...I must ask why?

Pop music - same old stuff constantly churned out, and yet everyone buys it. Don't understand really =p

Football (Soccer) - WTF? People earning thousands upon thousands of pounds a week to kick a ball about? Gah...

Going outside is over-rated...

>_>

...what? I'm cool, I really am...

XD

Over-rated? What, in these days of mass marketing, is not over-rated? In my opinion, the worst contenders are:
  • The Matrix
  • Shakespeare
  • Capitalism
  • Counter-Strike
  • Teen comedies
  • TV
  • Bedding Wacky

I personally think a list of what is under-rated would be of more interest

I dunno, the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings I have trouble getting into. Tolkein is a master of creating epics with lots of detail(which is what Middle Earth is about..an epic for all of Europe), but his narrative skills arent that good.

As to my list-

Morrowind. I had extreme trouble getting into it. The total unlinearness the game had caused to get confused at times. The combat was horrible, just a combination of holding down the WAD keys at different times with your weapons.Oh, and the fact that it can crash at any second didnt help.

Edit- Kain, the PS2 is the most overated console in all of history.

overrated things: the Patriots (NFL)
underrated: Panthers

back to overrated:
DragonballZ, Halo, The original star wars trilogy, some anime series, Jedi Academy, KOTOR, Orlando Bloom(its still cool though I like him, just he gets way to much attention) Janet jackson's nipple, the need to prootect innocent children from a star covered nipple instead of using valuable time and energy on more important things... tada and there will be more later

Eh, in my school Wind Waker is underrated. Plus it has what is the best boss fight IMO in the zelda series, when

zelda helps you

not necessary, i mean... i don't have to stick my head up a cow's arse to know it won't smell nice
but seriously, i know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but we all do. sometimes there are things you just don't like the look of.
you probably right, its probably a good game... and snails & frog legs probably do taste like chicken but i still aint going to eat them.

TK8252MJL put KOTOR in his list, personally i think thats the best game i've ever played.

hum, well before I had the baby these woman around the office were giving me DREADED horror stories. I mean - they must've had the worst experiences....

anyways I was so worried that when I actually had the baby - and went through all the most awful things....

I mean my water broke at 6 in the morning. I had the baby at 11: something...p.m. The baby had to be turned because he was the wrong way - they turned off the drugs and I pushed for 3 FREAKEN HOURS. They had to use the suction thing - he still wouldn't budge. I got 102.7 degree fever and then had to go have a cesearean and I could feel them cutting.

It was nothing compared to the horror stories from the ladies at work.

STTCT - You can't really compare having a cesearean to giving birth naturally. Both of my births were horrific, but I will spare you the gorey details. Childbirth is still extremely underated. I just can't express enough the excruciating pain.

Siv - Come on now.

My daughter: Eww, what's that?
Me: Black olives.
My daughter: Yuck, I'm not eating them.
Me: What do you mean yuck? You haven't even tried them. Taste one.
My daughter: No, they look discusting.
Me: Go on, you might even like them.
My daughter: *tries one* Mmmm, they're delicious!

Eh, Halo's a good game, but like I've said, it has some really bad texture problems, in most levels it seems like you're going through the same area over and over again, especially indoors.

Vader's wife was very pregnant when she died 19 years ago. All of a sudden a 19 year old who is very strong in the force and has a distinct resembalance to him in his younger days rolls in from Vader's home planet with his old Master Obi-Wan (Who was the ONLY other person preset at the time his wife died. And to boot, the kid's last name is Skywalker.

So in answer to your question, he knew Luke was his son because his name is Darth Vader, and not Darth Retard.

-Forum post on why Vader knew Luke was his son.

SIV damn sigs are avatars are over rated just kiddin !
Nah, I mean Siv is obviously very talented at putting together some nice stuff but why always Neo/Matrix..... excluding the first movie of course, the Wachowski brothers blew it.....

STTCT, I once made a similar statement about The Hobbit/LOTR....when I was about 12...... Reading Tolkien is about patience, but once you get used to 'being in his world' well, its just.....mind blowing. In its the details and description that are the KEY !!!

Patience.....young lady
