Ports for JK2

Hi everyone,

I know this has been asked before, and i did a search but got 835 results. However, i need to do this quickly, so any help you can give would be...well...helpful. 8^)

I am setting up a LAN server, but I want my friend on the outside of the firewall to be able to join. I need to open a port, but i can't find which port to open. I know its a UDP port, but what number? Or does it even matter? Could I choose any number? This is both for Outcast and Academy.

Normally the port range that is used by JK2 is 28060-28099 UDP.

The default port is 28070, but that can change and many servers use numbers in that range.

Jedi Academy uses the range 29060-29099 UDP. The default port normally used is 29070 here.

You may also need to open up your router (if you have one)'s DMZ.
