Just got the outlining done.

Note that the skins are not the cel shaded ones, just a test to see how it would turn out.

Once monsoon hooks me up with the cel version i'll modify the shader and it should be ready to go.

A FEW MORE SOUND TOUCH UPS__THEN DONE!!

I just have a few touch ups on the sounds then DURGE will be done as far as sounds go anyways probably by this weekend

--you guys are going to love it!!! they are nice and clear!!!

It all depends when monsoontide wants to release him out

--still though if I had the model I could tweek when specific sounds go with the model reactions but thats up to monsoontide

but trust me I'm sure no one will be disapointed

Since all the animations in JKA are the same, you can check the sounds against ANY player model!
I'll send you the model after I have the sounds - not much point sending you it unfinished, when I'm so close to being done with it.

Had an unscheduled week-long delay but am back at it now - just doing some touch ups for the team skins, default skin and toon skin. As usual will include the blank skin templates to allow any skinners to do new skins.

As far as Assaj goes, I'm in the process of UV mapping/texturing her, about 85% done, just have to do her dress/sash really. The only thing left to do on the model is fix the location of the caps in her arms.

The cartoon version is the best. It looks exactly like the Durge from the show.(If not better)

Well not exactly, the outline is an inverted duplicate of the model...so the polycount is doubled, that's why i used the LOD version.

The shader is used to create an ink color/shading effect on the textures.

PsykoSith: Any possibility of putting a tutorial for the cel shaded models up on your site? Not the modeling, just the actual effect itself.

That most recent shot looks very cool by-the-way. What's the polycount on the LOD you guys used for the toon version? It still looks good.

I got the info from another site so i could link the page somewhere.

The whole polycount for the cel-shaded version is 4052 (including caps and the jetpack).

It's higher than usual but at least i cut down to 4052 instead of having a 6000+ character.

The LOD itself is 2064 with caps + jetpack, 1800 something without the jetpack.

Durge is all ready to go apart from sounds.
RJW_ca - what progress?

if I don't get them soon, I guess I'll just go with some default sounds from Bobba Fett or something.

Well, it means I might have the sounds. Then I have to make sure they work and that everything else is in place - write the readme, upload the files and then wait until it gets posted (Depending on which sites I've uploaded to).

the sounds sounds Identical to Durge in the cartoon
I used a few sounds fron the cartoon
but I added a little more too--like around 40...hehe

this way he won't be so boring repeating the same things all the time

I have heard a sound from RJW, for this Durge model, after comparing it to the Clone Wars sound I can see the exact same tone and pitch these two things share. The sounds is a perfect likeness to Durge, RJW has produced lot of taunts to prevent repeats. Great Idea, future modelist may learn here!

Overall RJW had put in a heck of a lot of time to this, I can't wait for this model, and I think we should all congratulate the Team!

OK - I have the sounds and they seem suitable (Mnay thanks RJW_ca) - can't really say more until I've actually tested them with the model.
All going well, Durge should be available from pcgamemods later tonight - though as per usual, family commitments may interfere with this plan

Speeder Bike would delay release unecessarily and while I made a lance, there's no suitable weapon to replace it with except perhaps stun_prod.

Finsihed a metal/gloss shader on the default model. Looks OK.

Sounds all work fine. There was a missing sound (Death3) but I just duped Death1 and called it Death3.

Durge is all ready to go...

Apart from one thing...

For some reason I can't get the clone wars (cel shaded) version to show up as a selectable character on the profile screen.
It should but it doesn't!
I tried making a separate pk3 for it and still the same.
It spawns fine as an npc and you can change to it with /model cw_durge/default, so it's there and it works. Just can't figure out why it doesn't show in the menu.

Any ideas?
