help on the "stealth" mission...?
I'm sort of stuck on the "stealth" mission in JO here... Whenever I get to the room where the lights have to be turned off to sneak past the officers, I can't seem to get through the door on the other side of the room without being noticed. Is that the wrong door? Do I just need to run faster? I drop off the ledge and use force speed, never get close the the officers or anything...

You want to use mind trick a lot in that mission.

In that room, not only should you use speed, but also crouch-walk, as it is quiet, and head right for the door. Where you drop matters. That room can be a pain.

Oh - I forgot another thing.
Equip and use the 'light enhancing binocs', as they'll show you what is going on.
Between those, crouch-walking, force speed and some luck, it should be no problem

the way I did it was:
once you turn the lights off, use mind trick on the guards just below you, then use force speed, and do a massive running jump towards the door on the other side. go through, and save your game!

ummmm...if my memory serves me right......there are some tunnels off to your right, and if you get in those as quickly as possible it's a lot easier to get through that first section
Edit: i know it's cheap..but save often ;-)

I don't mind the idea of stealth, though I'm always wary of 'obligatory forced stealth missions' ... where it is stealth or failure. This one, although I like the level itself from a challenge point, is one of the worst executed level concepts in the game, IMO.
There is a single reason given for stealth - too many imperial forces. Yet we see ... six. Heck, in one area in that level I take out more than that in about 3 seconds
They would have been better taking the concept that you need to sneak aboard the Doomgiver, which you do need to do anyway. But if they had played it as a 'sneak aboard' rather than 'get aboard' then the stealth could have worked. You know - Kyle says 'OK, this is the Doomgiver's docking area, I need to sneak onboard so I can release Jan without them locking down the ship ... better use stealth'. Or whatever.
