The Dig - statue in the tomb

In the tomb on the mountain, I've put the cone-shaped torch in the hole to make some artificial light, wedged the panel down with the pole, uncovered the lens from outside...
... and nothing's happening. According to a walkthrough I got, a statue was supposed to have magically appeared.

What am I doing wrong?

You have to align the moons in the place with the rat... I can't remember where that is but it's a planitarium thing with a gold and silver rod...

I'll try and find you something better to explain it by...

I've looked at the map room. Several times. Doesn't make much sense to me.

As for the Planetarium, what's the correct alignment?

The big moon at 2 o clock and the smaller moon in between I think
