Sabers hilts in MP

Ive got a question i really need help on.....
Ive looked at all the saberhilt packs out there and out of all of them there were like 5 that worked in MP servers (like whne u join someones). and the funny thing is the most ugly hilts work in MP while the sweetest and most perfect ones don't.
what makes a saber work in MP and what makes it not?

I only want to add One saber hilt to my list in this world and i cant do it because it doesnt work in MP.

when i select it the saber hilt known as "stinger" aka "Reborn" takes its place.

please for the love of me HELP!

The server you join must have it. Otherwise it will only work on solo play. And that doesn't include single player unless you edit some menu files.

i know the server must have it..... but theres one i have a friend made no one else has. and it works on ALL servers....

the model itself is nothing compared to any of the game ones so that makes me wonder is there some certain thing that makes it work?

He probably replaced an existing saber. So your seeing yours while everyone else is seeing the regular one.

The model gla isnt the same (name)
the model itself is nothing like it(has way more polys than any of the ingame ones)
The .sab is nothing like the others

It doesn't have to be redone. It just ahs to replce a defualt one. But if the glm is not int he same folder or the same name then i don't know off hand.

sabers must be under 1000 polys and verts

again check your .SAB files to see if they point to the right file.
Make sure your tags are oriented the right way.

there are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who dont.
