The only problem that I have found with Redemption robes if you face malak with RR robes equipped on the leviathan in the cut scene you will have no head. To prevent this just don’t’ wear them right then. Besides no matter what you do to malak he wins. So no need for extra protection anyways.

Thank you prime I haven’t seen you around in awhile.

Oh don’t cheat to get them there are a few surprises that it appears no one has seen yet because they all cheat to use them me thinks

That’s great to hear guys, I sort of thought there would have been more feedback on that. That’s why I assumed most people just cheated to use the robes.

But at the same time people may not have wanted to reveal the surprise, and I also appreciate that as well.

Matt that’s why i made 2 identical robes except for colour some like the blue and some the tan , I like them both and use them both to change the look while playing

Since I was already stuck in the robes (the tan ones if anyone cares and for some reason I didnt have the blue ones this time) My char was wearing the robes during the interrogation.

It’s because the revan model 022 use’s an invisible head by default except at that key moment when the game uses the head you selected at the character creation screen but not if you face makak with the robes on. The only thing I can tell is some cut scenes cause the disguise to stay permanent unfortunately a new development for me to try to work on . Thanks for letting us know Dak_iSuk

Sorry it was just confusing to me. do u know what website im talking about. there was no readme in the download. This is the one im talking about

http://www.angelfire.com/crazy2/xclo...kotor_mods.htm

Im a little slow if there were hints in the description.
It was driving me nuts because i couldnt figure it out.

Anyways can some1 tell me who to talk to about getting into skinning and modding. I would like to start doing that so I can make people happy when bioware or obsidian leaves something out that they want. Plus for my own needs and fantasys

Oh btw i wasnt looking in the forums before on how to download this so i didnt know they were in game.

Did you installed the mod correctly? You need ot extract the files from the .rar file into your override directory. Make sure you don't put them into a subfolder.

For complete information about mod installation and .rar files, read this thread http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=143422

Check the sticky tutorials at the top of the forums. If you have questions after reading, then just ask your questions on the boards and people will help you. You'll find what you need to get started here: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=143421

Actually Darth333, when i downloaded it it did not come with an actual folder just the file rrr.rar that was like over a 1000 kb. I know how to install mods cuz i have quite a few. and i did put it in my override folder. can u think of anything i did wrong? Is it just putting in the code then looking in your items list? I typed giveitem g_a_mstrrobe55
didnt work. Is there onlly certain places that it works or other mods it doesnt go with?

I never saw a readme. Like i said the only thing that it came with was the file rrr.rar I got that from svoshes website where I clicked on the picture to download it. And the rrr.rar wasnt a folder just a file like what u extract from a folder.

By the way Darth333, do they have a guide for dummies like me.

If "it" refers to the .rar file, then yes, I can think of something you did wrong. You're supposed to open the .rar file with WinRAR and extract the contents to override.

.rar = Super .zip

And yes, there is a guide for new people, Darth333 wrote it actually, it's in this forum, browse for it.

I cant figure out how to open it (rrr.rar) and find files because it says search web to find bla bla bla. then when it searches and finds the author or whatever it does nothing else.

Do i have to install WinRAR for it to work if so where at? Like I said the rar I keep getting is NOT a folder u can open.

Yah, you'll need a .rar de-compressor program.

Winrar gets my vote, and you can get it here:

But there are several others available as well...

You need WinRAR for it, it's a very good program compresses files very well..just download install, then you should be able to click a .rar file and open it.

EDIT:T7 beat me to it

HOLY GOOD GOD!

Is it just me or is that a lot of files to extract? big files

Its a pain in the butt to go through and try to find the certain files that u want to delete. Im trying to find all those files from that 1 mod that i put in the override and its taking me forever. It doesnt even work, neither does that Weebuls and Uttinis shop.

( THIS POST IS EDITED SORRY ABOUT THE LANGUAGE. I DID NOT HAVE THE RIGHT STUFF TO RUN THE MOD. ARE WE OK NOW REDHAWKE??? )

I gave you the link to a mod installation guide in my yesterday's post above. Take the time to read it: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=143422

It should answer your questions and should you have read it, you would have also found the information concerning .rar files .

And please stop posting comments like "that retarded mod": they are offending and gratuitous. If you have comments concerning a mod in particular, post them in the appropriate thread and use constructive criticism. Redhawke worked very hard on those mods.

Edit: as for Redhawke's mods, the problem is certainly a bad installation as those mods work fine.

That's interesting, because, you know, they both work for me. And for most other people. Perhaps the problem is on the user's end. (That's you.)

Not sure if that was crticism but either way neither of them worked for me.

And I didnt mean Redhawk is a bad modder I was just mad that I couldnt get those to work. I actually like Redhawks work it just upseted me that I couldnt get those 2 mods to work.

By the way the Redemtion Robes and Redhawks Revan/Sith/Bastila Pack dont mix very well. I tried using the blue and tan robes on bastila and Canderous and put Redhawks Revan Robe on me and everytime I go through a loading spot my outfit changes to either the blue or tan robes. They are still cool though, it wouldnt bother me only my character is evil.

By the way I hear T7 is on the TSL Restoration Project, or I saw your name on one of the mods. Good Luck, I see its coming along nicley.

I'll give you two hints:

1) Read the readme. RH is very good at explaining how to install his stuff.
2) Those are both module mods, perhaps read the "How Do I Install Mods" thread, and look for 'module'.

Ok, let's just let this thread drift off now.

err...T7 is not part of the restoration project. if you saw the name on the download page for the game fixes, it's simply bacause some members here made fixes individually and the restoration team posted them over there. But this is getting off topic as this thread is about svosh's mod.

As for combining svosh mod with Redhawke's, you'll likely have to merge the appearance.2da files . Svosh explains how to do this in his readme.

1. You have no idea what a RAR file is...

2. You have problems reading a carefully written readme file...

3. You cannot seem to communicate very well... And posting while having a fit is a sign of this.

4. And you have basic comprihension problems...

You actually used the word retarded and crap toward my mods that work? You sir are really the one who needs to look at what you wrote and take stock in your own personal problems, and for the future, think real hard about what you want to say, and how you need to say it, before you actually go and post it.

[Insert Baby Cries Here] Whaaaaaa... I'm throwing a tantrum because I cannot read and I have no patience! Whaaaaaaaa! [Insert Even More Crying Sounds Here] Seriously KOTOR fan this is what your post sounds like to me! Very immature!

I'm glad Mono said that, because after being called retarded you wouldn't want to hear my advice to you. It involves a Shadow Pain Amplifier!

Nope KOTOR fan, that was proper criticism... and I agree with Mono, the problem is on your end.

The best solution to your problem, and yes it is your problem alone, would be to actually read the mods readme files and the thread that Darth333 wrote for new modders... and if you are having comprihension problems with that thread, or anyone's readme files, then we can do nothing for you as comprihension problems are still something you have to work on from your end.

Lastly, in the future think before you post... bad form KOTOR fan... Bad Form!

Now let's get back on topic...

@Hawke Your MODS are most certainly NOT retarded.

Both mods mentioned by Hawke work perfectly to my knowledge. My KOTOR still has everything KOTOR fan or whatever mentioned along with a TON of others with no conflicts, crashes or the like.

I think there was also a "certain point" in which you could gain access to Weebul's shop. I'm not sure cause it's been FOREVER since I did a playthrough but I do know they work regardless.

I never had any problems downloading files from svosh's site. It's probably something with your connection. Try with a download manager.

compatiability issue with RH's Revan the White

well back on topic with this great Redemption Robe mod...

i am having a slight compatiability texture or model override issue when using this Revan Redemption Robe mod and RedHawke's Revan The White mod.

in RH's RTW, there are 2 versions of the SF Robes (the tan ones, not the white robes). the first is hooded without the revan mask and the second is hooded with the revan mask. when i put the first one on, it looks as it should. however when i put the second version on, it instead takes on the appreance of the tan Redemption Robe.

[edit]nevermind, i figured it out, just had a little problem with disguises, that's all[/edit]
