He was from Australia. That's about it. Even then he's a disgrace to Australia. The fact he lives in Canberra is what I find amusing. It's the porn capital of Australia and they sell illegal fireworks. I think he should move to Kings Cross or Oxford Street in Sydney. Or perhaps Commercial Rd or St Kilda in Melbourne. I wonder how long he'd last? *giggle*

I meant, maybe they'll let you stick around HERE for awhile, on LucasForums. You're always welcome to stick around MIFF, if you thought that's what I meant.

Why is everybody going on and on about some guy who isn't even on the forums anymore? Did he make that much of an impact? I guess one compliment you could give him is that he left enough of a marking to have everybody still thinking about him.

I don't really remember a meksilon. I've been on the forums for a couple of years, I think I've seen his name before, but I don't remember the name as leaving this much of an impact. If he was such a dick, why not just forget about him?

Anyway, Australia is awesome though. I went there four years ago, and my brain has kind of created a paradise out of it. I plan to move to Sydney, which is the coolest city I've ever seen.

There's no earthly way of knowing which direction we are going. There's no knowing where we're rowing or which way the river's flowing. Is it raining? Is it snowing? Is a hurricane a-blowing? Not a speck of light is showing, so the danger must be growing. Are the fires of hell a-glowing? Is the grisly reaper mowing? Yes, the danger must be growing 'cause the rowers keep on rowing, and they're certainly not showing any signs that they are slowing. AAAGGHHH!!!

Cool Guy Marsupial logic

Australian animals like wallabies and kangaroos give me the creeps. I mean, what the hell? Just ban 'em all from the forum and be done with it!

Who gives a flying rip what they think about christianity?

Mek-silon: (NME mek/si/lon coll.) 1. An obdurate transparisteel polymer used for construction in a null-g chromium sulphur atmosphere. 2. Annoyance factor in a religious discussion.

not that easy. i only encountered about three or four of his religious nutcase threads and such, and i still remember him as a jerkwad.

plus, he was a riot. trying to prove there is a god with factual evidence: "i talked with him last night. he's pretty nice. we had some coffee...". okay, not exactly, but it was still pretty bad.

No, I totally underestimated him. After you guys got me curious, I did the research, and found the "list of people I hate" or whatever. And I thought I was the token forum jerk...

The only thing I don't get is, if he hates Yufster so much, then how come he talked to her on MSN?

Anyway, its good that I wasn't on the MI forums back then (I lurked at the gfn exclusively). Me being nonreligious and quick to debate, it would have been tough.

I know why he didn't like me...

*I had sex before marriage
*I used a condom during sex
*I had unprotected sex
*I have a lot of gay friends
*I'm bi curious
*I said Satan was a better **** and that God was a dead root
*I said something about how the catholic religion is ****ed up and they need to get with the programme... it's the 21st centuary
*I'm ashamed to be catholic at times the way they carry on
*My god loves everyone, despite sexual preference or race or religion
*I swallow (well it's better I swallow it then get myself pregnant...)

I'm sure I could think of a number of other reasons why Mek hates me, but those were the main points I could think of off the top of my head.

Pissed off about both? That's kind of self-contradicting...

Doesn't his little character panel say "gay and proud"? Or is that one of the noderators having fun?

Well he was *shruggles* not my fault. I didn't get pregnant and bring an unwanted baby into the world, so I don't see the problem.

Why does everyone feel that getting pregnant is a burden? ;_;

I think you kind of have to be a woman to protest to that sort of thing, kjo.

Oh trust me, I can't wait till I have kids of my own, but at the moment I wouldn't be able to financially support the baby, plus I want to bring a baby into the world through a loving married relationship. I don't like the idea of having a baby outside of marriage (It's probably the only catholic church thing I agree with)

My cousin Sarah had a baby nearly 2 years ago (in December) with her boyfriend and I hear all the time how they're struggling, they pretty much had no money (both were working part time low income jobs) and they didn't want to burden either family with a baby crying at all hours of the night so they moved into their own place. The rent alone eats up pretty much all of their income, plus food, bills, baby needs, it doesn't leave them much of their own spending money. (I won't go into detail of how Sarah is always dumping the poor kid on my aunt and uncle though...)

On the other hand, my cousin Jane had a baby a few months before Sarah. While she wasn't expecting it, her and her husband have well paying jobs, they have their own house, had money saved up and it's just been so much easier for them on the financial side of things. I mean like with any baby though she cries during the night or you have to change dirty nappies (diapers) but at least they can afford to look after her. Sarah and her boyfriend can't afford to and they struggle.

For me, I'd rather be like my cousin Jane. I'd rather have money set aside for the day I become a mother, rather than being thrown in the deep end like my cousin Sarah (who is only a couple of months older than me. She had the baby at 20 and she turned 22 in April)

And if I have a baby half as adorable as Emily (my cousin Jane's baby) I'll be happy. She's the most gorgeous kid I've ever seen. She's adorable. She's just learned my name so everytime she sees me now her eyes light up, arms go out and starts screaming "NATTY NATTY NATTY" and will then run up to me for a hug. I nearly cried the first time that happened.

we did a project in health class...it was where you had to feed, clothe, *everything a baby needs* a baby, and you had a low income job and everything. me and my partner for the project were left with only about $200 at the end of every month. maybe it was a little more. but it wasn't a lot.

well, actually, i kind of liked it. we wasted three days doing the thing. and then i got a 98% on it, for some question i didn't answer.

there was this one group that did their car payments over a 60-year span and they only had to pay $68 a month . and they still wound up with only about $100 total income for every month

I had detention once in a child development classroom. There was pictures of birth defects all over the wall (hence my nickname for the class "dead baby class") and really goes out of its way to scare you out of having sex.

If scare tactics weren't bad enough, the teacher has to be the most unhealthy teacher to teach a bunch of teenagers about child development. She calls herself a "secondary virgin" (there's no such thing by the way) and she hates all men.

AAAGGHHH!!!

secondary virgin...pfft.

once you've done it, that's it. our health teacher told us about that. "you can be abstinent even after you've had sex before. that's a secondary virgin." there's only one virgin. that's it. you can't go back to being a virgin again.

i can just imagine it now. it's like some sex addict girl:
"yeah, i've tried to stop for a few years now. i've come really close about 6 times. but i can't help myself. i stopped again. i'm trying really hard this time around. it's been three days whole days now. i've set a new record for myself now. yeah. i'm a seventh-ary virgin."

Amazing, in a thread this big, one person said something nice about mek...

... don't expect anything out of me, I respect his beliefs (well most of them) I just hate everything else about him.

i think we should just have a big meksilon sticky thread, where we have all his posts about christianity (and the ones where he put pictures of himself).

and only one person has said something nice? hm...yeah, i don't think i'll say something nice either.
