Best Leone Spaghetti Western

Ah, yes, all great films. I'm going with Once Upon a Time in West, nothing beats that.

There's no earthly way of knowing which direction we are going. There's no knowing where we're rowing or which way the river's flowing. Is it raining? Is it snowing? Is a hurricane a-blowing? Not a speck of light is showing, so the danger must be growing. Are the fires of hell a-glowing? Is the grisly reaper mowing? Yes, the danger must be growing 'cause the rowers keep on rowing, and they're certainly not showing any signs that they are slowing. AAAGGHHH!!!

I've always just been called to A Fistful of Dollars, I know it's not the best but I've always just loved it.

Thanks dude, I never knew about that. I'll have to check it out. But I'm only going for the Leone-directed ones.

It says on IMDb that Leone was directing but not credited for it.

Yeah, I saw that, but I still don't think it counts. Yeah, I know, a purist, me. Well, I'm the type of purist that isn't an *******. Well, I'm a purist, and an *******, But I'm not an ******* purist.

I found "Once Upon A Time..." a bit too self-conciously "Epic". It seemed like it was trying too hard to be an important movie. Great, but not my fave...

"T.G.T.B.A.T.U." rules all, athough "Fistful Of Dollars" comes very close. "The Good,.." was the first DVD I ever bought! Shows you where my loyalties lie...
Now they have a Special Edition DVD of it out that I think that I might just have to get...
