New and need help

hi, ive had this game for about a year and never played it but now i want to start, so i was wondering:
1:What tools to i need to edit models and skin
2:How do you then get the models into the game
3:how to you view models already in the game?
4:wats pk3

please help me

1. You need a graphics program like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop (Elements). If you want to make models you need a 3D modeling program like gmax.

2. Everything needs to be packaged into a .pk3 file, which is a renamed .zip file.

3. You need ModView, which comes with the SDK that you can download from the usual sites (like www.lucasfiles.com).
