Will my game be terminated?

Sometimes after I quit Rogue Squadron 3D, my computer goes to a blue screen and says:
"A fatal exception 0E has occurred at 0167:BFF9DFF. The current application will be terminated.
*Press any key to terminate the current application.
*Press CTRL+ALT+DEL again to restart your computer. You will lose any unsaved information in all applications.
Press any key to continue_
When I hit any key or those keys, my computer does nothing! I have to unplug my computer! What is this? Can you help?
