No more games based on moves after ep3 game

scroll to bottom paragraph. it says there will be no more games based on movies, but on the SW tv show. That angers me. But maybe the show will be as successful as Star Trek. They better do it right, or I'm gonna get mad. I dont wanna see the good name of star wras tarnished to boost ratings.

I hope its not on cable,. maybe UPN will get it. Cause they are a new station and want the good stuff. I cant see it being on NBC. yeah SW TV show. I'm ahppy that its life action. I heard a rumor that it may be about the Purge. bu I dont know. I just hope they dont make stupi things happen to boost ratings. like Fonzie and the shark.

I'd love to see stuff like that. Hopefully the show will be a sitcom. Not only could they make all Star Wars nerds happy, they could also revive the sitcom genre by taking advantage of the series following. I'm SOOO excited!

they got star trek, and that was a big dealfor them. and it better not be a sitcom. thatd suck. I hope it is serious. like 24, tough I havent seen it, and Law and order, but with moe action.

UPN sucks ass, they get terrible shows plus they're not broadcast in a lot of places.

Star Wars isn't really known for good comedy, mostly just moments of slapstick or one-liners. I think a sitcom would be hilarious though!

George Lucas did do comedy before (American Graffiti), which was pretty funny and is also the only film of his that he is not updating with special effects.

I didnt think American Graffiti was a comedy. It wasnt that funbny, I mean it was ok, but didnt seem like a comedy to me. Howardthe Duck, I suppose was a comedy.

It's on the American Film Institute's best comedy list so I suppose it's a comedy, but you never know.

I have a hard time believing that Lucasarts is just going to give up completely on the cash cow that is movie based SW games. No doubt they would change their tune if the TV series tanks...

My memory is quite hazy, but didn't they also say at one point in the past that they were only going to do games based on prequel movies?

well, they said they didnt have any planned. maybe someone will plan them. they never made an aotc video game for console or pc. one level would be chase zam, nex t would be fight jango. you know when he shoots the dart? well you can overdo that abit and make it a fight. next is make your way to dexes diner. and you go through a shady neighborhood and fight gangs. next is ur anakin and you gotta go thorugh a rough tatooine town to get to watto. then u fight tuskens. then ur obi and fight jango. then ur obi and you have to sneak around the citadel tihng and spy without getting caught. then ur ani and have to fight through the droid factory. then ur obi or anakin and fight in arena. then ur a random Jedi and fight outside the arena. then ur anakin and fight dooku. tahts just a rough idea.

i heard from a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend (etc) that jk3 is in early dev (plannign etc) which is going to use doom3 engne. well JK isnt really movies based now is it
